7 News with a special update at 8.30pm
and there is the difference between automated cameras and manual operationâŚ
The latest round of promos, yes, have been extremely well produced. I would only add âAnother reason why Sydney is making the switch to 7 Newsâ instead of âAnother reason Seven News is Australiaâs number 1â at the end.
Maybe in some markets but I donât think nationally.
I spotted a different 7 News Adelaide endboard today with the local team of presenters and reporters (including some Today Tonight reporters) standing behind Jane and John.
I wish Seven Perth made polished ads like that again.
Out of all the Seven News bulletins the most polished bulletin is definitely Adelaide (when compared to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth).
Wow I forgot how bad the giant iron set was. Sydney is still not great but itâs a big improvement on this.
Since Nine gained ownership of NWS in 2013, itâs news bulletins have been increasing in quality and viewership (not hard considering it was previously owned by WIN). Seven wants to maintain SASâ dominance in the Adelaide news market.
Seven News is only 30 minutes this weekend due to the Tennis.
The Mark Ferguson Promo Endtag for Seven News Sydney has been updated for 2017, with slightly different graphics & new footage:
The rest of the promo is basically the exact same Mark Ferguson promo (including a shot from before the minor desk tweak around August!) thatâs been airing for a while now.
you know youâre losing when you have to refer to the whole country for your alleged #1 newsreader, instead of the city heâs presenting in
Can somebody at Seven please remind whoever is supposed to upload bulletins to 7PLUS to please do their job? ABC, SBS, Nine and Ten donât seem to have any trouble at all getting their bulletins up every single night and yet Seven is hit-and-miss with theirs and seems to have decided to not bother at all in recent months.
Yeah I have also noticed this. Most of the time I can only find Sydney and Adelaide⌠and thatâs if they are uploaded.
Sevenâs 4.30 Live from Perth is back after the long break.
Because Iâm sure youâve all been waiting patiently to see it, an example of Sydneyâs new âMark Fergusonâ Promo/Update Endtag for 2017 in full motion:
Canât stand how 7News, Mark Ferguson, Australiaâs No. 1, and Tomorrow 6.00 arenât lined up against one another. Urgh.
This is the first time you will see me complaining about Mark Ferguson.
What on earth was with that endtag? That was genuinely bad. What is with that look up before he turns around? SevenâŚcumon. My goodness. Thatâs like 5 steps backwards. The way his name transitions on the screen is also not right.
This endtag was perfect (see below). I mean why change it? mabe just re-shoot it but keep it the same. Mark comes across as so natural in that look.
Compliments to SydneyCityTv for the upload.
Iâll have you know Seven spent good money on acting lessons to achieve that performance. Imagine how much more awkward he would look if he hadnât had the coaching.
