Spelling gremlins at it again in Sydney tonight - the R is right there in the background!
Also, if a control room/newsroom shot is too hard then can something like this please replace the floating orb backdrop asap? With some time-of-day tweaks as well please.

Now that you mention 1990s design, surely I’m not the only one who thinks that the animation of Seven News’ current titlecards is slightly reminiscent of their Early '90s movie intro (the one originally used by NBC) in parts?

Seems like 7 like missing a digit in the last cap with the three presenters ie. “Queenslands no.” but nothing after that.
But then 7 Gold Coast News can’t claim to be any such thing anyway given its not seen anywhere else in QLD.

I captured this off the satellite feeds. It’s interesting how the reporter pretends to nod to the presenter at the start and end to make it seem like it’s a live cross:

I’m guessing that feed would’ve been used for the “cross” that aired during the Morning or Afternoon News on August 30. Seven’s Sydney 6pm bulletin had an actual live cross to Ashlea Brown outside Liverpool Hospital for this story, as far as I can tell.
Seven have a habit of trying to pass off fake live crosses. The presenter sometimes even asks a question at the start and then thanks them for their cross after!
