TBI reports that Seven has renewed its long-standing first-look programming deal with ITV Studios Global Entertainment. The new deal starts in July and runs well into 2021.
I take it this provides much of the top-rating UK programming on 7Two + some other programming on Ch 7 (like Autopsy, etc)?
Lots of very positive comments for The Front Bar (as opposed to The Footy Show) on social media.
However not so much from viewers outside of Melbourne, particularly Adelaide.
Apparently after Home and Away triple, they got Big Bang repeats?
â
Also, schedule out of whack in Melbourne, as The Front Bar aired overtime.
Waiting for Grimm (11:40pm on EPG) but instead seeing Sunrise Best Bits (usually seen at midnight or 1am or something)
Quantico is returning to Mondays on Seven . Season 2 Episode 8 is now schedule for Monday 10 July at 11:45PM
What about The Goldbergs?
Not is schedule.
They disrespect this show so much. Canât they just get through all the new episodes rather than schedule repeats on some nights and show new episodes sporadically throughout the year?
Exciting scheduling news from Seven

Thursday 20 July at 7.30pm
Builders Make You Laugh Out Loud
Prepare to laugh your socks off as comedian Iain Lee presents the funniest videos of dumb builders ever caught on camera.
Even though Seven have listed Quantico returning on the main channel next Monday; they also have Wimbledon schedule to start at 9:45 that night.
Is this show scheduled in every Thursday now? Even when the footy isnât on?
Correct.
Blatantly aimed at Melbourne now though (8:30pm against The Footy Show - the former got the win).
Other markets get it late night.
Sydney & Brisbane after midnight.
I know weâve discussed before.
But itâs interesting to see âCollateral Damageâ (2002) premiering on 7mate, a former Nine film, tonight. Distributed by Warner Bros
And âThe Jackalâ (1997) premiering on 9Go!, a former Seven film (was last on 7mate in April), on Tuesday. Distributed by Universal Pictures
I donât claim to know the details of Sevenâs new Warner Bros deal & Nineâs new Universal deal. But it seems as though both networks are picking up the âsecond rateâ films, prior to 2000. With more recent films (certainly big franchises / blockbusters) remaining (e.g.) Harry Potter is still on Nine.
Why do networks need to tell us, that its the first time (either ever or since another networkâs aired it) that a film is airing on their network (i.e.) âpremiereâ

How many times do Seven like to replay The Proposal? It was last on the main channel only just a few weeks ago!!
All Round to Mrs Brownâs is a BBC variety show in which Brendan OâConnor and cast members from Mrs Brownâs Boys entertain celebrity guests. The first season which aired in late March and April this year, has six episodes. Guests for the first episode include Pamela Anderson, James Blunt and Judy Murray (mother of tennis champion Andy Murray). It has been renewed for a second season in 2018. A good get for Seven.
A rip-off of The Kumars at Number 42?
slightly off topic
Knowing Mrs. Browns Boys was regularly classified MA15+, I wonder if the episodes of this new show will have to be edited for Melbourne (airing at 7:30pm, due to The Front Bar).
Which Iâd say would severely disrupt the content of the new show
I doubt it, being a variety show, surely it wonât warrant anymore than an M rating.
Seven will be looking at ~40% shares this Friday and/or Saturday, with Wimbledon (on top of the already ~35% they regularly rate).
Depending of course if the AFL game(s) big and/or close & how all the movies fair.
So do we know where Hells Kitchen and Little Big Shots are going to air?
HK on Sun -Mon and LBS on Wed ?
That keeps Behave Yourself and Yummy Mummies on Tuesdays.
