If I’m an example, I had looked for when it was going to be on a streaming service without luck.
Yeah seems unavailable all mediums ATM, it’s being licenced differently by SPRI AU/NZ (rather than LA based standard provider to networks SPTVID) as it’s a local title, looks like Seven were proactive and got in enquiring for a deal and got one, seemingly stipulations on no other releases until their TV first run too. So good on them I guess.

Perhaps because it includes a couple of prominent recent segments from Seven News.; other networks might not have been so interested.

According to Inside Film website, John Farnham: Finding the Voice took an additional $36,232 at the box office last weekend to move to $4.4 million, as it winds up its theatrical run ahead of Seven’s broadcast in two weeks’ time.

Will be interested to see the ratings on Sunday for Bravo; Back to the Future returns to Seven, now the Universal content has finally moved over from Nine.
It was a huge ratings winner for Nine.

Seven, not too dissimilar to Nine, appear to have given up on the early Saturday movie in place of seemingly ‘filler’ show. With a single movie now later at 8:30pm. For this week, assumed it was a result of BGT not being able to air on Thursday due to World Cup nor fit elsewhere, but this seems more deifnite given normal BH&G is still airing this next week. The BH&G specials used to air on weeknights as filler during the year, they’ve also been on 7Two in some markets before due to AFL (such as a Wednesday or Thursday due to H&As or Front Bar or AFL).

Given this match is held in Perth, it should be shown on main channel in Perth at 7.30pm, bumping ABBA Silver, ABBA Gold & The Front Bar to 7mate.

I believe that next week’s edition of The Front Bar may be the first time in the shows history that the show will not run overtime, with the Women’s FIFA World Cup following the show.

I am sure you understand my point. The names just don’t mix well together, the style of humour is quite different.
Obviously Seven have cheapened out of what could have sold well overseas, unless he has already done adaptations for a roast style show for other markets as well.
