Would be great if they could give him a good roast about his whinge about being PC, woke and every moment he reminisces about the 70s’ racist and derogatory remarks and sentiments like he did on Fawlty Towers. He used to be some sort of amusing cuckoo but now he’s gone complete babbling fool.

Home and Away will be shown on 7two in Adelaide at 7pm on Monday, July 31, due to Women’s World Cup coverage.

Looks like Animals Aboard with Dr Harry has been pulled from the schedule after only three episodes. ABBA Silver, ABBA Gold airs this Wednesday night.

And yet Animals Aboard outrated Million Dollar Island last week

It was a good concept. Should’ve been tighter- 30mins rather than 60mins.

Agree. Way too soon for a repeat airing on the main channel.

Something I found interesting about the John Farnham special last night was how some of the footage was different from what was shown in the cinematic version.

For example, when they were introducing John into LRB in the cinematic version they used a interview from the Don Lane Show in 1983. In last nights version the footage was Molly interviewing John on Countdown.

It also happened when they were showing footage of Olivia Newton John singing and saying how big she was.

Given the current interest in John Farnham and with Olivia’s anniversary approaching, they should consider replaying The Main Event concert (from 1998). It’s packed with hits and visually still looks great after all these years. Could be a filler or could air say 9.00 one night.

Some TBAs filled in with best guesses

A big week (i would think) for Seven. There’s The Voice returning, there’s the AFL, and then there’s the Quarter Finals of the Women’s FIFA World Cup.

Various running time for The Voice: 1hr, 55min for the launch, 1hr 15min for Audition 2, and 1hr 45min for Audition 3. Plus the usual overruns. Annoying for most, but if it works for Seven, then why not. Although its TBC, i can see the repeats airing on the Friday night happening in Syd, Bris and Perth.

Interesting going with AFL on main channel in some markets instead of Women’s World Cup Qtr Final nationally

Seven News will need to be shortened tonight if they want the Logies to start on time as the Melbourne v Richmond game is running overtime and won’t finish until around 6.10pm.

The women’s soccer won’t rate unless Australia are playing.

I reckon if Australia makes it to the Round of 16 game next Monday at 8.30pm, they will drop Home and Away, show The Voice at 7 and then the soccer at 8.15.

Might be the reason why they are planning only a 75 minute episode of The Voice for that night.

Without Sin

Coming soon

Psychological thriller Without Sin explores the relationship which develops between a grieving mother and the man she believes murdered her daughter. In this four-part drama, Vicky McClure (Line of Duty, This is England, Broadchurch, Trigger Point) plays the role of grieving mother, Stella Tomlinson, whose 14-year-old daughter Maisy, is found dead at their family home with the bloodied, hooded figure of Charles Stone (Johnny Harris - The Salisbury Poisonings, Medici, Troy: Fall of a City) standing over her.

The Nottingham-based drama focuses upon Stella’s life three years on from the death of her daughter and how she is still hostage to her grief. The loss of her beloved only child has created deep divisions in her life, as she struggles on a daily basis to come to terms with this. Wracked with guilt and remorse at the events of that night, she chooses to live a nocturnal existence as an Uber driver. She is estranged from husband Paul, who still lives in the family home.

When contacted by Restorative Justice, and in an attempt to move on, Stella and Paul reunite to listen to a taped recording of Charles, who they believe wants to atone for his sins and apologise for murdering their daughter. Following this development, Stella returns to her roots in the Millfields estate. Surrounding herself with the people she trusts and holds dear, her mother Jessie and best friend Remy, she decides to take things with Charles one step further. Stella agrees to visit the prison alongside a Restorative Justice Mediator and come face to face with her daughter’s killer. But nothing could prepare her for what Charles has to say next…

4 Part drama shown on ITV in May after release on ITVX in Dec 2022
