Wow people really will watch nearly anything 7 puts on. Won’t be cancelling my Netflix and Stan subscriptions that’s for sure !

Just as long as we don’t count programs like Restaurant Revolution, The Big Adventure, Celebrity Splash…

TBH, I really don’t understand how anyone can watch these “Make You LOL” specials. How about investing in a proper comedy show Seven (or Nine…or Ten)?!

Confirmation that Peter Allen: Not the Boy Next Door was a purely fictional portrayal of Peter Allen’s life. I laughed though some of the scenes, particularly Sigrid Thornton’s unbelievable Judy Garland dream sequences.

But this week the critically acclaimed Seven Network drama has a shot at one of the world’s most prestigious prizes for television, at the 56th annual Monte Carlo Television Festival.

The miniseries, Not The Boy Next Door, has been nominated in the outstanding long fiction program category and its star, Joel Jackson, has been nominated in the outstanding actor category at the festival’s Golden Nymph Awards.

It was no documentary and while certain elements may have been played up for the production I would not suggest it was “purely fictional”. That implies that the whole thing was made up.

Wonder what time frame they are looking at for that channel in Prime areas.I wonder if they think "It’s available online , so why bother broadcasting it on tv ".

Makes me wonder how affiliates make much money from ads on channels that have lower audience numbers.

I gave up on the idea of watching The Goldbergs. Went to see if old episodes were on Plus 7 and unfortunately they aren’t.

^ Straight copy of what Nine did last night. At least Nine was fast and bumped a show no one cared about to show it.

The High Road, a sequel to 1995 ABC mini-series Blue Murder, is being made for Seven by new production company Rough Diamond with producer John Edwards at the helm. Richard Roxburgh (Rake) will reprise his role as former NSW detective Roger Rogerson.

New line up:
08:45 PM Seven News Special: Roger Rogerson: The Devil You Know
The murderous plot by Australia’s most corrupt cop, Roger Rogerson, and his former detective accomplice, Glen McNamara, to kill a young drug dealer, Jamie Gao, and rip-off $3 million worth of ice.

07:30 PM The Force - Behind The Line
08:30 PM Seven News Special: In Cold Blood: The Chris Lane Story
In 2013, Aussie baseball player Chris Lane was killed in America by three callous teens. Police show how they tracked down his murderers, Chris’ family, girlfriend and one of the killers speak out.

Not sure about the program that follows as conflicting info received
At may be 2 x repeat episodes of The Goldbergs (which makes no sense as there are unaired new episodes still to show) with Kiss Bang Love gone or KBL may have its final in the later timeslot.

Edit: 10:15 PM is 2 x Goldberg repeats.

Coming soon to Seven - groan

###Toddlers Make You LOL

We’ve searched high and low to bring you the world’s funniest clips of kids. From tumbling toddlers to talented tots – not forgetting some terrible tantrums – we’ve assembled the very best the internet has to offer, guaranteed to make you laugh out loud.

Plus we find time to go behind the scenes of some of the superviral kid clips that have taken the internet by storm:

We’ll meet sassy six year old Johanna Colon who’s extraordinary performance of Aretha Franklin’s ‘Respect’ at her school recital in 2015 has been viewed over 50 million times. And we’ll introduce you to 3-year-old April who, after a disastrous encounter with a bottle of nail polish, hilariously attempts to persuade her dad that the resulting mess was all Barbie’s fault!

Comedians and self-confessed video junkies Zoe Lyons, Des Clarke and Ellie Taylor, are on hand to enjoy all the fun, and Iain Lee narrates.

###Puppies Make You LOL

We’ve searched high and low to bring you all the most entertaining puppy clips for your viewing convenience. Sporty pups, scaredy pups, malfunctioning pups, ninja pups and even talking pups are all here.

We meet Oakley a miniature Australian Sheep Dog puppy, whose howl-a-long to Disney’s Frozen hit song ‘Let It Go’, has had millions of people across the world, howling with laughter.

If you thought that Grumpy Cat was the grumpiest pet online, then think again. A new pretender is in town in the shape of Grumpy Puppy, whose owners are intent on unleashing his grumpiness to the world.

And then we have Kago and Kumbali, a puppy and cheetah who are not only best of friends, but have literally saved one another’s lives in a Disney-esque story of survival.

This week narrator Iain Lee is joined by comedians Zoe Lyon and Hal Cruttenden along with LOL’s regular animal behaviourist Peter Neville who’ll explain exactly why Puppies Make You LOL.

Enough with these youtube/LOL programs. They are not necessary in this day of age.

I question if they were ever necessary to air on TV? Such cheap trashy shit that should never ever see the light of day. :expressionless:
