Seven Network - Programs and Schedules

It’s possible. Next Wednesday the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo starts at 8.45pm. A regular episode of House Rules is one hour 15 minutes long with ads so it fits with the schedule.

Just saw the promo for next week’s episode of Seven Year Switch. At the moment it is still scheduled at 9pm. So next Tuesday it’s possible to have either MKR grand final at 7pm or the season premiere of House Rules at 7.30pm.

Expect the grand final on Monday. They wont move home and away. More likely to shift a show back to 9:30

The MKR semi final 2 is on Monday.

Oh ok. Didnt realise that. They might leave the grand final until the sunday but air houze rules tuesday-thursday

A House Rules house reveal-MKR grand final double header on Sunday May 1? This is even bolder than 2011 when The Renovators started on the same night as MasterChef final.

Is it possible that the premiere of House Rule will be on the Tuesday before MKR finishes with a GF on the next Sunday? Very risky strategy.

They’ve done it before IIRC

In 2014 and 2015, House Rules started the night after MKR grand final. The two programs had never been on the same night.

Except for series 1 (with just 2 episodes per week) the biggest gap between the last 2 episodes was series 4 when the semi-final was on Wednesday and fans had to wait until the Sunday for the final. The rest have been on consecutive nights. A six-day gap is big.

The Edinburgh Tattoo is now being advertised as 8.40 not 8.45. That sounds like HR will precede it.
Update: promo just aired during Sunrise. House Rules starts Wednesday 7.30

This has been confirmed this morning. Promo during Sunrise. Starts Wednesday, continues Thursday

And we all remember how that worked out for Ten :relieved:

It’s a good move and catches Nine and Ten out a bit.

Will Ten start Masterchef on the Wednesday or wait until the following Sunday or Monday? Will Nine premiere The Voice mid week, Sunday/Monday or wait until after The Logies?

Never knew that there were 90 days in April!

Just feels like it :grinning:

I think in today’s environment, Ten wouldn’t have axed it if it got the same ratings it did then. Seven have proven that with work, it is possible to grow from a low first season.

Just look how they’ve strung The Biggest Loser along.

Yeah, they’d kill for those kinds of ratings in 2016. Now they seem content with sub-300k in prime time

They have shit programs on Sunday but are showing MKR this Thursday?
