how about “global interest”, then?
Getting warmer.
Global warming?
I think the interest is still there but the significance and spectacle have become less exceptional. 20 to 40 to 50 years ago, there was nothing like Superbowl as access to gridiron was rare outside TV shows and movies. It is so easy to access now and so many other sports have caught up to the spectacle of the game.
With the new Season of Greys Anatomy on Channel 7, What about The Goldbergs Season 5 airing new eps on 7flix First, at 11p.m.?

Not great for Perth viewers, though many will be staying up late and the AFL version hasn’t been big there.
Seven currently running Gold Coast Comm Games ‘snap shots’ (those various 5min docos) as of 2:45pm.
Never returned to Super Bowl, safe to assume that’s ended (NBC said they were going to This Is Us).
Seven probably waiting until 3pm for a more even network programming resume, I guess The Chase (UK) will air.
Post Super-Bowl in Queensland, the next scheduled show wasn’t until 3pm (The Chase UK) - so as filler now 7 is airing Surf Patrol and 7Mate is airing Cajun Pawn Stars.
Why did Seven schedule Super Bowl coverage to go until 4PM AEDT when the game finished much over an hour before this time? Were they just trying to be safe in case it ran overtime for whatever reason?
Think you answered your own question there .
It would be to preempt any delay or overtime
It’s quite funny that when Seven finally schedules My Kitchen Rules on Thursdays, then Nine decides not to show Married at First Sight on the night.
I wonder if Seven will pick-up (or have picked-up) Malcolm in the Middle with their new Fox deal?
Any sign of Blindspot S3?
No - the only thing not mentioned so far is The Blacklist returning “soon” with Season 5 Episode 9
You misunderstood - I meant The Blacklist is returning soon according to Seven but it hasn’t been mentioned here.
Given the timing of Hard Sun’s debut, is Seven planning to make the series a 7plus exclusive and not show the other five episodes on TV after the Winter Olympics?
That’s what I assumed from Seven’s promo for it.
