They should show the original afterwards (or do Nine have the rights?).

Correct, Nine still have the rights.

Expect to see all National Lampoon movies this Christmas / summer, Seven may get them after that.

So The Good Doctor gets its third timeslot (but an important one). Seven must be very confident.

EDIT: here is the promo for The Good Doctor catch-up on 7plus and its return date.

Watching this now, it’s actually better than I thought.

A hint that Seven should air more ‘feel good’, chilled Friday night flicks over summer particularly.

Rather than blasting out the Marvel blockbusters and the never-ending Love Actually/Sister Act/Pretty Woman.

So more chick flicks like Under the Tuscan Sun?

Is it really a chick flick? After watching it, I beg to differ a little. Certainly semi-romantic drama.

I’ve informed your mother and your television privileges have been revoked.

It’s alright to come out of the closet and admit you like chick flicks. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

That’s about as close to the definition of a chick flick i think you’ll find

Any guesses for what the Saturday Christmas movie will be?

Seven is rushing through season 1 of The Grand Tour as season 2 began streaming on Amazon last week, and season 1 did not rate well as Seven was hoping for.

Well it won’t be what was on Seven last year, as Dr Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas will be on Nine this year.

Why are the movies always “TBA” initially for Seven, have been that way for many years?

Is it that difficult to select a movie? Or is it a quota issue? Would’ve thought it’d be easy.

Love Actually again?

Hope not! That movie is overplayed enough as it is.
