Why is Adelaide currently playing TDE Best Bits rather than Seven News at 5 on the main channel?
Actually, now Seven News at 5 is playing. Was there a gap in the schedule or something? Did the news start late in Sydney for some reason?
The 5pm bulletin didn’t start until roughly 5:05pm in Sydney & Melbourne because the Tonga v Lebanon RLWC match went longer than expected
A bit of excessive programming from Seven?

I too saw the promo, which said “the 3 films over 1 week”, so expect to see 2 and 3 Sunday and Monday week, let’s see if I’m correct when Cynic posts the schedule.
A Moveable Feast, which has been screened in Victoria on Sunday afternoons for much of this year, is now seen in NSW and Tasmania as well. The show will be shown at 5.30pm in all three states.

Thanks, I figured it may have had something to with the RLWC matches. Since the match didn’t show on the main channel in Adelaide and Perth, they needed something to fill the gap in the schedule between the end of Coastwatch Oz at about 4:59 and the start of the 5PM news at about 5:05. Clearly they didn’t want to alter the time on the banner at the bottom when it aired in these places since there still would have been a gap in the schedule somewhere, whether it would have been before or after it…
