A reminder of 2019 with “TV’s biggest coup of the year”.

And now it’s back down to smouldering ashes.

TV Tonight just confirmed that it is.

Honestly wouldn’t be surprised if DWTS finds its way back onto Seven. They’re the experts at picking up ‘established’ formats after all.

Interesting to see The All New Monty in the 8.30 slot.

If Beat the Chasers do well this year that could also be on the slate for next year.

No surprises that MKR and House Rules are gone.

Wait is this for serious?

C’mon Seven. Your upfront has been fairly decent until this point.

Oh well, it re-emphasises this point of mine.

EDIT: It’s slated for 2022.

…or Plate of Origin! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Both MKR & House Rules have run their course after 11 and 8 seasons respectively, so it’s probably for the best that they take a break next year.

Interesting pick up in Australian Idol. I think they should have picked this up instead of The Voice.

Fixed.

So they’re going to have two singing shows? Jesus.

Perhaps they’ve put the other one as a backup in case The Voice flops next year. Can’t see them actually airing two singing shows in a year along with AGT.

Does that mean in 2022 we will have 2 singing shows? Surely The Voice has signed a long term deal and not just 1 season for 7.

LOL yes, I agree.

At least there’s no sign (yet) of The Great Australian Bake Off or that rumored new dating show!
