Seven Network 2020

hate the new name “celebrity SAS” makes it sound a lot more tacky and just invites the negativity around the contestants being nobodies. It isn’t really necessary either, we haven’t had a normal people version, why does this need a celebrity prefix?

Agreed. SAS:Who Dares to Win is much better.

And some of the ‘celebrities’ involved: Nick Cummins, Roxy Jacenko. Yuck :mask:

even when these shows do have a decent cast of household names, the reactions are always “more like Dancing with the D-Listers / Im a has-been, Get me out of here / The Masked Nobody”

its a criticism that seems to be avoided when ‘celebrity’ is not in the title like most variety/entertainment shows.

Who the fuck is this “roxy jacenko” anyway and why do news outlets call her “pr queen”?

I think she’s best known for being the target of a poo jogger.

Hmmm. Seems to be a theme developing at Seven with regard to programming.

The title “Who Dares Wins” will forever be associated with Mike Whitney and Tania Zaetta.

Yes it was much better Celebrity SAS just sounds like an LCD bottom of the barrel one-off failure.

Seven should consider making a new show based on one of the Big Brother challenges this year.

Could be called ‘Domino League’ or something similar. Would be cheap to make and could be filmed with social distancing in place. If Lego Masters can work this surely would find an audience.

Here is the challenge that was seen on Big Brother:

Thoughts?

I thought there was talks of this at one stage.

Why not?!

Isn’t Mike Goldman doing the VO’s in this new series?

Not the same. Too produced.
