This also applied to Sydney.
Could be a mistake, I was told the change over was happening this week.
i herd it was changing on thursday. unless its now changed for some reason
The eBroadcast and YourTV online guide also have 7HD mirroring 7 as well (for Sydney at least)
Could it really be true?!!!
Oooh, I hope the new EPG and online guides are right!
Hold your horses, guys. Didnāt something like this happen after the Rio Olympics where the EPG said it would remain as Seven, then switched to 7mate HD feed with correct EPG? IIRC, the EPG is usually based on which feed LCN 70 is receiving at that time.

As for mah, I know for certain that Iāll be able to enjoy HD content from Seven through Southern Cross HD come tomorrow!
Has anyone checked the EPG on terrestrial TV? That one is usually the most reliable.
Yes
Hope so too, but in the past not a reliable advance guide for the HD switch. I can see forward on the broadcast EPG to Thursday next week and the HD simulcast is still there, so the change (at the moment) doesnāt look like it was just delayed for one week.
Well I donāt know who inputs the information on the 7HD Wikepedia page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/7HD -
āOn the 23 March 2017, 7HD will revert back to being 7mate in Sydney, Brisbane and Perth, while Melbourne and Adelaide continued the primary channelās HD feed as normal, even though 7HD TV Guides in the Brisbane Metropolitan Market are simulcasting the primary channel TV Guides.ā Say no more

Edit reason: Confirmed by Seven themselves.
Confirmed where?

Afterall, itās not as if Wikipedia has ever had incorrect information beforeā¦
Yup, wasnāt there a piece on Wikipedia about 9Gem and 7Flix getting the old TVS shows.
A lot of theories on a forum I visit said that its possible Seven will just switch to 7mate to 7mateHD for the AFL games . Could be possible.
I guess either way we will know for sure whether 7mateHD is being turned on at midnight.
Bring it on
7HD Sydney is switching back to 7mate tomorrow. You Watch.
I know it is. As is Perth and Brisbane, I just think people are hoping itās not.
For me itās win win.
I know itās a long shot but wouldnāt it be lovely to see viewers punish Seven for switching 7HD off in favour of 7mateHD.
Fortunately I donāt watch enough broadcast TV to care anymore aside from news.
