Reminds me of when Ten used to have their logo on the Sherrin footballs when they had AFL (stopped being used during games during last few years, maybe only Grand Finals).
Them and Seven still had some for publicity shots too.
I think that was only for finals during the first of their agreements when they had exclusivity. And promotional activities like you said.
