My only negative is that the light blue stating ‘women’s t20 match 1’ is a bit distracting etc.
I know it’s used as an info bar so it should be bright and clear but maybe they should use another colour?
Edit: looks like that colour is supposed to match the team secondary colour
Well done Joel Starcevic, Seven’s new Head of Cricket and veteran Ten AFL > 7AFL senior producer, taking over from EP Chris Jones who started in 2018 under Head of Cricket Dave Barham (Jones is now the network’s Head of Sport).
Haven’t been watching it fully but have they finally gotten rid of the score graphic when showing replays? That was my biggest pet peev with 7’s entire cricket graphics package
I wonder if we will now see new AFL graphics from 2025?
They are surely going to have to lift their game now that Fox Footy can show every game with their own graphics and commentators.
These cricket graphics are awesome and a huge leap from the previous set. I hope Seven will keep them for their test coverage later in the summer.

NRL uses 9 for matches covered by both. Cricket uses Fox for matches covered by both. So they could go either way
AFL will use Seven for Seven, Fox or Fox exclusives in Victoria. Whoever the host broadcaster is, like the NRL. Cricket is different.
I like these new graphics but also like their current test ones as they are simple. But since it’s been the same since 7 started cricket, maybe they can tweak their current one where they include best of both the new & old
Interesting, Anna Stone (as tagged in Chris Jones’ social post) appears to be a producer (EP?) with/under Joel Starcevic on Seven’s cricket now. I thought she was promoted by Lewis Martin to motorsport EP a few years back, when they got the FTA rights back to the Supercars?
For the mini match, Emma gives a little intro going through the 2 teams and mentioned the late outs and said “great contest, here are the highlights” before the match highlights actually started
For the highlights it went straight to the highlights with no intro
A little minor change to the graphics. The bottom of the score graphic now has a slight black background instead of being empty.

I agree. With the gap you could see the score graphic and that it wasn’t too big. But now it looks like a bigger score graphic that it actually is and a bit distracting too
