Seven Cricket Coverage

For all the cuts/switching/stingers Seven get wrong, there is a lot they get spot on. It’s amazing to see the power of those 4 cameras they have on site, to the point where Fox are almost missing out on some of those positions.

They are doing what Channel 4 did with cricket coverage in the Uk at the turn of the century.

They didn’t get the resources that Sky got, so they went for a whole hearty coverage. Public backed it, but sky sports didn’t like them getting the backing and made sure channel 4 would be unable to bid for the next TV rights.

7News to follow the cricket, good decision rather than demote the test to 7mate as it is a tense finish.

I think 7 should have the amount of over remaining in the grey area instead of stating the obvious

Everyone know what both Australia & England need to win because it shows it in the score and also the target

Or in the target section.

By doing that it shows how many balls each batter has faced & wickets taken by the bowler

It seems like they are limited at what they can put in the Grey area

The commentators in the studio today, couldn’t make the hour trip down the highway?

Probably not worth the risk currently.

Unusual to see the cricket on 7Plus this afternoon. (Contrary to the EPG displayed on the website)

I mean, it’s as risky as going to the MCG yesterday

Technical issue no doubt but violation of the current broadcast rights.

Still going now. Wonder what’s happened? A second of Border Security played at the return from the ad-break after the drinks break.
It is very delayed though. A few balls behind Kayo at least.
