The fill-ins Seven are using during the Olympics are better than BT who is IMO better on the radio than TV
During morning program on 3AW today, they were asking callers to vote on who they think should replace Dennis.
It was very mixed.
BT & poaching Huddo stood out.
Lets be honest, Anthony Hudson will be arounf for decades yet, is a brilliant caller, worked under Rex Hunt in the 90’s & called 6 Grand Finals for Ch 10
This Week in AFL on Seven: Round 4
The Tigers trek west to Perth to battle West Coast having beaten them at Domain Stadium in their last two clashes. Last year’s Grand Finalists West Coast have only lost twice in the past year at Subiaco, and with some key Tigers still out, it shapes as an almighty task for Richmond. Friday Night Football also goes down memory lane to take a look at the inaugural West Coast Eagles match in 1987 against Richmond.
Saturday Night Footy sees the fast-paced excitement of the Bulldogs face off against the improved Blues and their exciting young stars Patrick Cripps and Jacob Weitering. Discovered features Bulldogs playmaker Jason Johannisen, while we take a look back at Marc Murphy mic’d up in the pre-match. And Geelong superstar Patrick Dangerfield joins us live on the desk after Geelong’s game against Essendon.
Sunday Football has two traditional rivals in arguably their biggest clash in 10 years as the improved Demons take on an embattled Collingwood who have Steele Sidebottom available after suspension. We catch up with Melbourne ruckman Max Gawn to find out what’s driving his strong form.
The country arrives in the city at the MCG as Saturday Arvo Football pits Essendon against Geelong amid the Country Program
I don’t really understand how the deal works. Why do Sydney get 2 AFL games on Sunday? I understand they must show the GWS game into NSW but why do they then get the Collingwood match? Adelaide and Perth viewers don’t get two matches.
With the AFL hell bent on pushing their game down our throats, it means Sydney/Brisbane get the best of everything. Even live coverage against the gate. Too bad for the AFL it’s on multichannel 7mate.
Not like the bad old days
Your claims are wrong about Perth. We actually do get 2 matches. From time to time we will get the state team followed by Seven’s coverage of Sunday Afternoon Football
I’m not talking about the state team. I am talking about the AFL matches… I am going on the information provided by Tv Cynic and it doesn’t say Perth gets two matches on Sunday. I’m not in Perth. So obviously I don’t follow the tv guides. It was just a statement provided by the facts…
I am referring to AFL matches not state games. Yes I know its not for this round, it has happen before when Perth has gotten 2 games, 1 from Fox and 1 from 7.
Ok… It was a very strange comment when I mentioned this weeks round. But ok…
Basil commentating with Denis tonight.
I know… Pathetic
No Bruce even!?
Give me basil over BT any day I don’t have a problem with.basil
Ok he will never be like the legend cometti
Not sure why all the Basil hate. Think he’s a great commentator. Has the ability and knowledge and the right amount of respect for the legend that is Dennis. I like when they call together.
Can confirm Perth often gets 2 games.
No, he’s woeful. NOT ONE PERSON LIKES HIM.
Surely you gathered that over the past 4+ years?..
Troiboi and WATV like him, so there’s two already.
Well we both have a opinion but everyone on Twitter thinks basil is awesome
Love basil
Dude I get you are insanely passionate about media but slow down with comments like that.
Turn the tv on today to watch the game and find out it isn’t live. They are back at it again this year. This was the most frustrating thing. What is the benefit of delaying a telecast?
