St Kilda’s game against Brisbane will be at Etihad Stadium. If Lions fans leave straight after the final siren of AFLW grand final at around 3pm, they should make it to the start of men’s game.
In Victoria, the AFLW GF will be on the main channel with horse racing on 7TWO.
Perth will have 5 games live this week to kick off afl 2018

The GF is on the main channel in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. Golden Slipper is on 7Two in those markets.

What is the difference between 7:00 and 7:30 - not much at all besides the 30 minute difference.

Under the current broadcast deal WA will not get the Melbourne-Geelong clash on FTA, which is unfortunate because it is produced by Seven and does not overlap with the Eagles-Swans game.

Qld will get 6 games if you include the Women’s GF on Saturday, which leads into St.Kilda vs Lions, which leads into GC vs North in Cairns (boy will that be scrappy, the sweat all over the ball will make handling a lottery). Plus of course the games on Thursday, Friday and Sunday Afternoon.

AFLW isn’t AFL, so I wasnt counting it as part of 7’s AFL rights agreement. Under that logic, WA/NSW/SA also get 6 games this weekend.

Herald Sun reports Tim Watson has quit Talking Footy to reduce his workload and he will not be replaced on the show. When it returns next Monday night it will also return to a Seven in-house production, last year the show was produced by Eddie McGuire’s JAM TV.

And yes we have new graphics. The flipping style is similar to the Frost graphics used on Seven’s coverage in 1998-2001.
