They have horse racing on Saturday afternoons. On Sundays they have Footy Feast which is a panel show which I guess rates higher.

Noticed that coverup on Footy Feast today, plus they cover up the right side of the scorebug (where they show upcoming or scores or promos) with “ROUND TWO” and the AFL logo.
See Fox Footy thread - it was like that on the original broadcast.

Likely cause they’re the world feed for those matches, don’t want Fox branding/promos coming up on TNT Sports, ABC Australia etc
Doesn’t really matter. All it states is upcoming game and time - nothing about being on Fox. Fox still verbally referenced a lot of times.
If we are to apply world-feed neutrality, then Seven should do the same. And yet references of 7, 7+ and its programming are there all the time.
It’s a lot of effort for nothing.
No they did it last year and OR/R1 so that’s clearly not the case.

Been curious about this since last season, does the full match replays on 7+ change depending on your location and local team, or is it just only the 7 produced matches?
So does QLD teams get Suns & Lions matches in the full match replay sections? Or in WA, do they get the 7WA full match replay on 7+?
You get the replays of all the matches 7 makes available in the area.
Will be interesting how 7 codes the 2 AFL matches in WA. the Sunday arvo match that was in all markets was at 12pm WA while the local match is at 3pm.
I’m going to assume the Eagles v North game in WA will have a seperate number. If WA didn’t have the earlier game then they would of combined it with the 7 produced national 3pm match

They do that in VIC every Sunday afternoon game unless it finishes around 5mins early. And the most they have is 1-2 post game interviews

Caroline said during Agenda Setters that Bailey Smith might join 7AFL for an analytical role with 7 mid season for pre game, half time or post game stuff. Apparently he went to 7 and said he wanted to be do analysis stuff

AFL has locked in a day grand final for both 2026 & 2027. 7 will be disappointed especially since they have been running the news that it’s probably a twilight gf this year with Kylie Minogue as the entertainment
