Seven AFL Coverage

2016 was 4.2m for the Presentations nationally on broadcast, with no live streaming (time-shifted).

I enjoyed it, but many online lambasted it. I think Ray Meagher saved it a bit, “AFL Stewart” LOL

It’s sport, not court.

Sorry, but the whole thing is cringe af and needs to stop.

Even to introduce it as late breaking news was poor from Seven, a real clanger

It’s been a bit deflating to have no football review shows on today, following the Grand Final. To properly discuss yesterday and wrap things up. Maybe everyone in the industry and fans alike are just happy with yesterday as being the end.

Nothing on Seven, Nine or Foxtel from what I could tell.

I thought the Sunday Footy Show usually did something, didn’t check in live this morning, but when I went onto 9Now (about 45min ago) it at least wasn’t uploaded.

I’m guessing Fox Footy/Kayo might have a couple of shows tomorrow night and of course radio throughout the day, as well as tonight’s news bulletins. Lions will be wanting their home-town celebrations now back in Queensland this week.

I watched the AFL footy show on nine up here in QLD, and they did an excellent show around the lions. They had multiple crosses to lions players celebrating with their fans and they did a pretty good tactical analysis on the game as well. It was essentially a 2 hour brisbane celebration, which is all you could want for from a program like that

Also, you can find clips on it on youtube right now.

The usual 360/Couch combo and that’s a wrap on AFL television this season.

The W will feed first-run content for the next two months.

Same here. Expectation for grand final is dress to high standards , Especially in the role of reporter.

9Now is a lot slower to upload than 7plus.

Footy Show will be up later today I’d assume.

Today’s program is on 9Now now.

Saints W team broke the AFLW record for the biggest comeback from 3qrt. Just 6-7 weeks after their men’s broke the same record in the AFL. So the Saints social had a simple request :joy:

Saw Mike Brady’s performance for the first time. Complete audio stuff up. Feel really sorry for Mike.

I reckon he could have handled it better. Adding a line in “I need to hear the track” wasn’t a good look for him or organisers…. After all the years singing the song, he should know the song like the back of his hand.

This figure will likely never be beaten again, unless a future Grand Final features a team such as St Kilda trying to break a long premiership drought (as was the case in 2005 when the Swans ended a 72-year drought).

Or a Carlton/Essendon v Collingwood or Essendon vs Carlton type GF happens. I think that could probably beat a big number because those teams are big teams with supporters across the country.

I think it’s more likely to happen with another Sydney v Brisbane game that’s not over 10 minutes into the second quarter. You’ll get Melb, Adel, WA watching no matter what.
