Is it just me or has this bulletin become more and more Australian focused over the years?

I remember when I first started getting into this sort of stuff (in around 2010), they were much more consistent with the broader ethos of the channel. Practically the whole hour was dedicated to events that had occurred overseas, with a small segment somewhere in there summarising local events.

Nowadays all of their updates seem to be dominated by local news
are they trying to shed that ‘point of difference’ and compete with the commercials now?

(Although I must say that I happened to catch the end of the bulletin last night, and I was quite impressed that they are still doing a comprehensive global weather forecast - that’s something the other networks still haven’t adopted)
