Is this the old Blackmore’s Running Festival or whatever it was called? That aired on 10?
Good to see SBS involving in sports outside of cycling and football
Yes, Blackmores sponsored Sydney Marathon up to last year’s event. This year the marathon will be sponsored by India’s Tata Consultancy Services.
Is that an SBS provided graphic? Can we seriously not have our tax dollars go towards a basically competent graphic designer???
It’s currently half time now SBS between Brazil and Ecuador. After a short ad break, they went on showing highlights of the Brazil Argentina match, with the ticker at the bottom of the screen saying:
“It’s half-time of Matchday 7 of the Conmebol FIFA 2026 World Cup Qualifiers, You are currently watching highlights of the Brazil vs Argentina match from Matchday 6”
Opening titles: The World Game presents The Weekly Football Wrap. I did not know that The World Game was still around. Just assumed it was SBS Sports these days.
Alex Brosque is the first guest of this show. The set is very simple.
The soccer (football) highlights is a bit jarring though. The right corner curve is annoying.
