16-year-old Lea lives in a nice, suburban home East of Paris with her parents and younger siblings. She’s a self-assured teen who does well in school and loves to dance. But when her overly strict parents try to curb her social life, Lea runs away from home. She winds up in the wrong place at the wrong time, getting tangled up with a shady rap duo.

SBS has bought the AVOD rights to Estonian drama Traitor. The show is inspired by recent spy scandals in Estonia and begins in 2004, just before Estonia joined NATO and became a top target for Russian intelligence.

Then she’s sent to assess Connie who is facing trial for a terrible crime. Can Emma find out what happened on the night of the crime? Or what happened to turn Connie into a monster? As Emma tries to make sense of it all, Connie starts to show a searing insight into Emma’s deepest insecurities and begins to brutally exploit them. Their sessions become a complex psychological game with confusing and emotional undercurrents. As Emma tries to uncover the truth and learn what triggered Connie’s despicable behaviour, it seems that her attempts to see justice done may destroy her instead.

Season 3 of My Brilliant Friend will premiere on SBS on Demand on August 11, with the full season available from midnight AEST. Foxtel has previously shown the first two seasons.

Slowly, the idyllic façade that surrounds the Congregation begins to disintegrate, revealing a sex cult and sinister web of intrigue, in which a deeply rooted and dangerous devotion to faith drives Anna to kill in the name of the Lord.

Esra Kaplan has only a few months left in juvenile detention, but decides not to return to juvenile detention after a dramatic leave visit to her Turkish family. Instead, she and her boyfriend Greg Driessen are on the run. For the first time in their lives, Esra and Greg feel free from everything and everyone, but soon the crimes pile up from bad to worse and they come to be known as the “Bonnie and Clyde of the Low Countries”. Will they be able to escape and start over together - or will they eventually be overtaken by their past?
