He’ll be remembered more as a great athlete rather than a league or union great.

Same here. They initially said they were shutting production for the mag just for 2020 (due to Covid). It would have been nice if it returned for this season!!

I miss the season guide and preview magazine - must buys at the start of every season.

In fact, I gotta say the SMH is really disappointing - no major lift out, despite owning two of the NRL’s major media outlets in Nine and 2GB. I got the Tele’s one (well, the digital version), and yes, did get the digital version of the Newcastle Herald’s Knights magazine for 2021.

I miss the season guide handbook too. Certainly a must buy. I love getting “round 1” of Big League too for some time. Just for the excitement that the new season is starting.

A shame that the SMH had no major lift out. Even my local newspaper (a dying breed) had no pull-out this year. They’ve had a lift out for as long as i can remember (including a team poster and a tipping comp pull-out).

All must be under the pump this year.

Where is the Tele’s one? I have the app but can’t see it anywhere.

I didn’t realise the season guide had not been published this year. Cost cutting at NRL HQ bites.

It’s in the “Today’s Paper” section, and under back issues. Subscribers only.

Couldn’t even outsource it, even if it already was via News Ltd, as I think they did the Big League magazine under license.

Thanks I am a subscriber, I’ll have another look there I couldn’t find it earlier.

for once, I agree with you - I need the Sharks to win for a perfect round.

Well done on picking the round!
We are both happy campers then

Friday 16 April in Newcastle shaping up to be a beauty.
Bring on 0-62 Part II

That can get fucked as well. Revenge is a dish best served on home ground.

George Jennings was a spectacularly useless pick-up. Storm are utterly stuffed on the wings this season.

Good. May the Storm go down quicker than the Titanic in a field full of icebergs.

Josh Addo-Carr did well on the other wing.
But agree they missed Vunivalu tonight.
Sivo wouldn’t have scored those tries if he was there.

But, BRILLIANT wet weather game from both teams.
Sivo’s double the difference really.

They’ll find a way to screw it up.

One week at a time , Long season look forward to watching the other games in the rain this weekend. Brookvale should be fun.
