Rugby League

Their catch-up/streaming arrangement hasn’t been great; sporting codes should want their games out there, easy to view, so matches should be available on NRL.com, as well as the matches shown on Nine should be available via 9Now.

Unfortunately they’ve seen broadcast & now streaming rights as sources of (extra) revenue instead of being a critically important way for fans to remain connected to their teams & the sport in-general.

Why would Peter V’Landys add another Team in Brisbane while the Broncos continue to Struggle and the Titans just South on the Gold Coast continue to be Unviable?

Because Nine and Fox want another Brisbane team. Not for any sensible reason.

I’ve always got the impression that someone at some level of power in the game wants to try and dismantle the Broncos empire that they’ve built in Brisbane

So has Thursday’s Panthers v Rabbitohs match.

For a different reason, due to the dodgy playing surface at Campbelltown rather than the Victorian COVID issues.

Thursday: Panthers v Rabbitohs
Friday: Storm v Warriors
Both games moved to Kogarah Oval.

People still to be seated in the corporate boxes only for those two games?
