This seems to vindicate Ponga. Very damning for the ref. Ponga avoids a ban, gets a fine and can play next week.

Ponga dodges ban for send-off that shook Origin

Yay! He can play for us if Holbrook needs him.

No. Origin is treated differently - Ponga’s grade two charge in the NRL premiership would be a two game suspension, in origin it’s only a fine.

Ridiculous but that’s how the judiciary rules work.

The NSW Women’s have made it a 3-0 clean sweep with a hard fought 12-4 win over QLD in tonight’s 3rd and final game

Well done NSW! First time the Women’s team has achieved a 3-0 series result.

Time now for the NSW men’s to do the same!

Bold assumption given both games now aren’t in NSW

Well that was a bit closer than I was hoping for, after the Sharkies lead 22-4 at half time and having the breeze in the 2nd half.

Manly did well to bring it back to 28-22, but Cronulla were able to hold on from there for a 6 point victory.

Looks like NSW will be without Blayke Brailey after he suffered a suspected broken arm in the 2nd half.

The Wests Tigers have ended a 3 match losing run with a 22-16 win over the out of sorts Canterbury Bulldogs.

The Dogs were unable to back up their win over the Storm last week, consigning them to 6 losses from their last 7 outings, and leave them in 13th on the ladder.

Not the greatest of wins, but believe you me, I’ll take it.

One of the upsets of the season! (given the results to date).

Melbourne Storm beat the Sydney Roosters 18-4 tonight at AAMI Park.

Didn’t watch the game (but kinda wished I did now).
