Agree, my bet is a $50,000 fine and a 4 match suspension, but not be sacked.

Double that. Make him suffer.

How about a week of having him live with you at your place?

Include that as well.

9 round suspension - returns round 10 + “significant” fine.

Well done. About time they stepped up and gave him a kick in the arse.

Some aren’t satisfied.

Mark Levy is an embarrassment.

I’d say they’re trying tio drum up publicity for their own shows by being “outraged” at whatever the NRL dishes out.

In all honesty, he shoulld’ve been sacked by the Broncos AND suspended fpr the season. But that will never happen. So a lengthy suspension is as good as it will get, sadly. At least it’s more than a handful of games - 9 ggames is a long time.

Yeo, who captained the Kangaroos for the first time as they claimed the Pacific Cup from New Zealand, edged out England centre Herbie Farnworth and Australian team-mate Tom Trbojevic by the narrowest of margins in voting for the 2024 IRL Golden Boot.

I always say, with respect to the 2007 and 2009 seasons, the Melbourne Storm “won” those Grand Finals, rather than the premierships.

Though those two titles are not recognized in the history books, Greg Inglis and Billy Slater are still recognized as the Clive Churchill Medallists from those respective years.

Agree, it wasn’t the Storm’s players fault it happened.

I also don’t think the Storm players were aware of any illegal or fraudulent activity that was happening behind the scenes.

Similar to how the Bulldogs players weren’t aware of anything untoward in 2002, though I believe the Warriors’ 22-14 win late in the season (which ended the Dogs’ 17-match winning streak) set off a chain of events that led to the Dogs being busted for cheating the salary cap and being sentenced to that year’s wooden spoon.

The players that were receiving extra payments would have to be naive to not be aware.

Yeah, but 3rd party payments were allowed to some degree, but they wouldn’t know what other players are getting and whether the club as a whole was within the rules.

I say screw the Storm.
