60 Minutes getting in on the act as well.
Video promo here also, looks like this could’ve gone to air?
Which One of the UK News Services the Australian Networks will Relay for Tonight’s Major Event? BBC or ITN?
Seven: ITN
ABC, Nine, SBS and tendaily: BBC
And from what was said on a sunrise this morning, 7 will be commercial free after 7pm. I assume most other networks will do similar.
Nine and Seven have been advertising that the “wedding ceremony” will be “commercial free” or “uninterrupted”. So the rest of the coverage may have adverts. Also leaves the possibility of pop ups etc as they aren’t commercials under the code and would not interrupt the coverage.
Just for interest - it’s would be a breach of the ‘Code on the Scheduling of Television Advertising’ if a UK broadcaster aired an ad-break during the wedding ceremony
SBS promo:
Seven is the only Australian broadcaster to have a studio on the grounds of Windsor Castle located near 'the long walk ’ which is the background.
Featuring
coverage starts in perth 3pm wst
its bizarre perth are showing the telecast on 1hr delay .Why!!!
At 5:18pm Musher is heading off to do Seven News and will be back after.
5:23pm: Mel Doyle is now being joined by Tim Ewart
The coverage is quickly becoming a ‘dick swinging’ contest between Seven and Nine considering Seven repeatedly making that claim in their coverage so far and this tweet:
Uhh, it’s not? It’s definitely live in Perth. [CORRECTION: I’m wrong, the pre-ceremony is delayed by an hour on Seven in Perth]
Speaking of Perth, am I the only one who finds it odd Seven aren’t using Susannah Carr for their national coverage? Seems a bit silly to fly her all the way to London purely for a 3 minute 6pm cross…
current time in the uk is 8.52
time shown screen just 7.52
seven Perth coverage is differently not live at this time
Today have used their old logo on a couple Facebook posts recently
