what time?

Let’s launch week 2 of the new footy seasons. Typical 10.

They usually only announce 2 weeks ahead of time, but 3 weeks… woah

7:30pm

Yeah, not a great way to start is it.

They really just don’t give a fuck these guys do they? I get they like to “run their own race” but sometimes you really do have to consider the competition. They just have no idea. Bev lives another week. Useless.

It’s meant to be starting the week after the current season of The Graham Norton Show finishes isn’t it?

I know, it’s poor timing and programming.

This is what happened last year with Location Location.

This should have been launched last week prior to people’s Friday night habits commencing for the year.

If it is, kudos to them for seeing the show through in that slot (sarcasm) given the usual treatment of moving it around as needed.

But it could easily have moved back to 8:30pm, it’s hardly doing any good in that slot anyway.

To be fair, 10 have been promoting this show for a few weeks now, asking for people to be in the audience. So they haven’t really “forgotten” about this show.

Tomorrow (Wednesday) is the last day of filming, and there are two sessions.

10 returns to “Lifestyle Fridays” on March 8. There are 20 episodes in this series. So this will take us towards the end of July, if there’s no breaks.

Fridays Are Set To Sizzle With Ready Steady Cook.**

Premieres Friday, 8 March At 7.30pm On 10 And 10 Play.

Australia’s most loved TV chef and host with the most, Miguel Maestre, is bringing big food fun to Friday nights in the tasty new series Ready Steady Cook from Friday, 8 March at 7.30pm on 10 and 10 Play.

Returning to 10 after more than a decade-long hiatus, the original cooking competition show showcases some of the country’s best chefs, who will join forces with everyday Aussie home cooks, to prepare delicious dishes using only five ingredients (and pantry supplies). The team who takes out the win after the strict 20 minute cook time, will be decided by the live studio audience. In the final round, our two chefs will battle head-to-head in the ‘Chef’s Challenge,’ where they will push culinary boundaries in a 10-minute fast round.

Hoping to reign supreme in their Capsicum and Tomato teams, are culinary royalty Adriano Zumbo, Hayden Quinn, Anna Polyviou, Khanh Ong, Mindy Woods, Sarah Todd, Sergio Perera, Diana Chan, Alastair McLeod, Mike Reid, Adam D’Sylva and Alice Zaslavsky.

In addition, some of Australia’s favourite celebrities will also join in on the cooking spectacular across a number of special episodes.

Prepare to witness culinary magic unfold right before your eyes, Friday nights with Ready Steady Cook.

Great to read that Alastair McLeod is back. He was on the original series.

A few MasterChef stars, who’ve turned into great chefs, appearing too.

Am looking forward to this show.

Miguel’s colleague and friend Amanda Keller will be one of the guests, according to his interview in TV Week.

The new set looks great. I use to love this format back when it was on in daytime. I hope it works for 10. It’s a good show for a Friday night if you don’t want to watch football.

It still looks like a daytime show not a prime time show.

I did think that too, the set is very bright, maybe it’s intentional?

Keen to see how this does for 10, finally something decent to watch on a Friday night.
