Nine’s The Voice won the 7.30pm ratings battle last night after pulling in what was a season low audience of 832,000 viewers compared to the previous week’s 992,000.
It was still, however, ahead of 10’s MasterChef that was watched by 684,000, its best Monday result since the launch of the season in April.
Meanwhile, Seven’s House Rules, lost ground, landing in fourth place in the timeslot with 591,000 behind ABC’s 7.30 on 609,000 and Back Roads with 610,000.
Later, Have You Been Paying Attention? saw 10 take the lead with 750,000, and win the key advertising demos; the show’s best number for six weeks.
Overall, it was another win for Nine with the largest prime time audience share of 29.8% followed by Seven (26.0%), 10 (20.2%), ABC (16.8%) and SBS (7.1%).
In the 25-54 age group Nine had 31.4%, 10 was second with 26.9% ahead of Seven (24.3%), ABC (11.2%) and SBS (6.2%).
In the youngest demographic group aged 16-39, 10 won with 30.6% ahead of Nine with 26.9% and Seven with 25.2% with ABC on 11.5% and SBS 5.7%.
