One of the most competitive nights of the year, Nine came out on top by less than three points while the contest at breakfast saw the gap between Today and Sunrise the closest so far this year.

Nine won along the east coast with Seven ahead in Adelaide and Perth where 7Mate had 10.2%. 10’s main channel did well to rank second and the network was ahead of Seven in Melbourne and Brisbane.
In the 25-54 age group 10 had 30.5%, Nine 29.0%, Seven 22.0%, ABC 12.4% and SBS 6.1%.
In 16-39, 10 had 34.0%, Nine 27.3%, Seven 21.6%, ABC 11.1% and SBS 5.0%.
10’s Masked Singer was the number one entertainment show and saw the bulk of the program rate higher than the previous Monday but with reveal lower. Have You Been Paying Attention? that followed was steady.
Nine’s The Block also did better week-on-week but Seven’s Plate Of Origin sank to below 400,000 a series low. The cooking show ranked 19th in 25-52 behind ABC’s 7.30.
For ABC Australian Story was down but Media Watch and Four Corners rated higher.
