90s trash TV at it best….or worst.
10 brought back its old Independent Television System (ITS) logo for the 100th episode of The Cheap Seats tonight (screencap by TVCynic):
Channel 10 was known as ITS before 1970.
Ah, Hard Copy and it’s better known today parody
“No, Mr. Simpson, don’t take your anger out me…” ![]()
Wasn’t local TEN10 and ATV0 predominately used on air during this time though?
each station had its own identity but the grouping of stations was known as ITS (Independent Television System) and later the 0-10 Network.
Understand, but was the ITS logo ever shown on screen?
IIRC it was shown as a production ender.
From a 1966 episode of The Magic Circle Club.

Found this in a video about the history of Channel 31 Adelaide.
I assume this was the same Open Channel seen on Channel 0/28.
From the ABC-TV show Wollongong the Brave, song also featured in The Aunty Jack Show
Also presumably the song that Bruce Gordon make’s WIN TV employee’s sing at the start of each day ![]()

On Fox’s Fifi, Fev and Nick this morning, Fifi Box revealed she had a fashion disaster at the red carpet of 2009 Brownlow Medal when she was doing the interviews for Seven.
The Brownlow event however would be remembered for Brendan Fevola’s “pressure point” segment when he was doing Street Talk for The Footy Show.
Great to see the bear back ![]()
‘For the Best in Television’. Good little promotion. ![]()
To celebrate the ABBA Trundle Festival aporoaching on Octobet 18-20, Can anyone post the video of the full special of The ABBA Tribute Show that aired live on the Nine Network, presented by Richard Wilkins on June 2, 2001? I would love to see a Red Faces-type segment with judges Ben Dark (as Benny), Tracy Bartham (as Anni-Frid) and the late Bernard King (as Bjornard), with Act 1 Kimberly Kavanagh performing “Money Money Money”, Act 2 two girls Brianna and Sue as AB performing “Mamma Mia” (thought they work for Volvo, but they work for Mitsubishi!) and Act 3 a couple with SPUNK performing “Does Your Mother Know”, then the good news is that with the most scores, SPUNK won! They have won passes to see the premiere of the Australian Production of “Mamma Mia: The Musical” at Melbourne’s Crown Casino, 2nd and 3rd place acts recieve a collection on ABBA’s albums. It was a big night with the lead up to Nine’s airing of ABBA: The Movie in 1977.
Here is Spunk’s performance:
