No, today and tomorrow also look to be very warm, summer is hanging around into April so it seems!
Must be the one of the hottest Easters we’ve had?

I’am Planning to go to Bali for Schoolies (Not into that Nightclub crap and drinking, drugs etc) Just to have a relaxing break after 13 years of schooling. I’ve booked a Vila in Seminyak but now I’m thinking about flights.
Has anyone flown Garuda Indonesia by any chance? Apparently they have a very comfortable Economy class & seating arrangement (2-4-2) on their Airbus A330-300 aircraft. I’ve looked at Virgin & Qantas also but they use smaller planes on the Sydney to Denpasar route. Not interested on flying Jetstar i’ve had too many bad experiences with them.
Feedback would be much appreciated.
A Garuda A330 is going to be far more comfortable in economy class than a narrow body 737 or A320. Ex Sydney they’re probably going to be your best choice and shouldn’t cost any more than Qantas or Virgin.
I always fly Garuda to Bali. Although from Perth so not much of a flight really. A great airline. Full service and not too expensive. Give them a go.
I’m honestly wishing that Foxtel did do something like the Sky Q.
Foxtel’s previous STBs were all based on boxes from Sky UK which were all released in the UK well before Foxtel made the Australian release. Their interface was usually optimised and very snappy, and all the bugs would have been ironed out in the year between the initial Sky UK release and Foxtel’s release.
Foxtel didn’t want to wait 3 years to release their own version of Sky’s updated set top box, as looming online competition was spooking Foxtel, so they developed their own bespoke product. Foxtel announced the IQ3 in late 2013, and it launched in March 2015. Sky Q was released in February 2016 after announcement in November 2015.
If they’d waited for Sky Q to base the IQ3 off of, they’d probably have had to wait until 2017 for launch, which would have been a long way off in 2013 when they were antsy to try and smash the online competition.
Holy crap. The first minute of this is almost like an episode of Brass Eye in terms of how surreal the situation being presented is - especially the bit where some rapper celebrates something with a cake shaped like a pill.
I’m astounded by how such an obviously toxic culture like that can actually be admired by people and be so popular.
Be careful - you never know what’ll happen to your Shatner’s bassoon if you take that stuff!
The current crop of soundcloud rappers and the culture surrounding them is one of the first music trends that has made me feel like I’m getting old through a sheer lack of understanding for the culture surrounding it…
Why is the day before Anzac Day apparently so important to residents of Victoria that it’s now referred to as Anzac Day Eve? Are there plans for another public holiday?
How could you challenge the validity of Anzac Day Eve? Just disgusting
They now play football on it.
First I’ve heard of it. Clearly I’m out of the loop
There’s absolutely nothing important about the 24th, and no one refers to it as Anzac Eve/Anzac Day Eve outside of the context of the football game.
The game is big because it’s has fixed games which both have large local supporter bases and being the night before a public holiday (and one with very restricted trading) the vast majority of people are able to do something that night without having to worry about getting up early.
That’s what I usually do too, make it a big night then sleep in rather than going to the dawn service and watching the march.
So they’re not going to a Dawn service then… right…
Melbourne’s dawn service has about 100,000 people attend… so about 98% of all people in Melbourne don’t go to the Dawn service
There are multiple Dawn services though.
I’m watching old idents before bed. I will wonder if I have a nostalgic dream tonight
I remember I was out driving on an Anzac Day morning and happened to have a loose fan belt on my car that would squeal really badly for a couple of minutes before it warmed up and gained traction.
So I was leaving the house and went down Anzac Parade in Maroubra and while my extremely loud squeaky belt was squeaking as I drove past, they were doing the last post outside the Maroubra RSL club. Oh dear…
