Is the 9Now logo really necessary? Most people know there is a live video feed available on the Nine Now website and app.

I think it is. If people know they’re going to miss the showing on 9 at a particular time then they know they can see it on 9Now. Or they can deliberately miss it knowing it’ll be on 9Now.

That’s been the case for years. The 9Now logo takes up unnecessary space. Yes if it was 5 years ago then yes I would agree. It’s the same as showing the website below the watermark. Takes up unnecessary space on information that’s assumed.

But 9Now is the future. In 10-15 more years people will probably move to the BVOD Services more and more. Scheduled appointment viewing is a thing of the past. They should be advertising their online services and moving people over gradually before linear disappears.

They don’t need to have both logos, presently the 9 logo morphs into 9now, that can become more prevalent into the future. Two logos side by side unnecessary in this case. I like
The look though? Just needs work on making the show title more prominent. Add a drop shadow to it or a darkened patch overlaying the area the title sits
