That’s the current K, I made no changes to it
I previously posted this idea in the incorrect thread, so I have moved it here (with a larger close-up of the watermarks). This is a suggestion of how NBN and WIN’s watermarks could look with their web address below the 9 logo. In overlapping signal areas, it would avoid confusion between 9 (metro) and NBN/WIN.
I hate the web address being listed, logo is sufficient. Anyone that is interested can search online, not that difficult.
I don’t think this would work. Nine.com.au is a more diverse website than the affiliates’ own sites, and that’s partially because it used to be Ninemsn.
Could you do one without the the website, just put the region name.
In a way, you’re saying that the affiliate site is worthless - the affiliate sites should be showcased as a way to the viewers local community, it’s MORE important than 9Honey imo
I do not think unless the you are in a cross over region, ie Wollongong, Central Coast, Gold Coast etc it is necessary to have the region on the watermark. It takes up unnecessary space. Just stick with the standard Nine logo without the region.
Do NBN and WIN actually have anything useful on their websites though that warrant them being on the watermark? They’re pretty standard basic skeleton websites that don’t really have a whole lot of purpose (in my opinion).
Putting the region for overlap markets is much much better than a website.
…and in this age of mostly centralised playout for the networks, surely anything which makes the On-Air Presentation of our stations slightly more local (even if it’s just location-specific PRGs or watermarks) has to be a good thing?
to fix this issue, just rebrand the whole country to Seven, Nine and 10. Get rid of the other ones
Thought ‘Australia’ was good enough a name?

ah yes, I love living in Western Seven, Nine and 10
I didn’t know Australia was a brand…
If Channel 9 wanted a new revamp… here’s my try with a dot logo graphics style. I also think we should make different threads for each Network for mocks.
I like the layout and the fact you respected safe areas
I like the idea.
I’d like to see this type of layout but in a reincarnated 2001 style.
Reminds me of the 2009 look.
