You’re a bit too late for that look, hasn’t been used in over a year.
Also, slapping a white box over an existing super and saying it’s a new one is not a mock.

Appreciate the feedback 
The 1 News logo as it currently is doesn’t lend itself great to my designs. I’ve considered smaller or changing its position but I wasn’t happy with it so I left it as it is currently.
I did consider having the lower thirds pulsing with a white centric circles from left to right but I thought I am just adding elements for aesthetics rather than functionality.
That’s not a mock that’s their actual opener.

Logo animation is on point! It’s bloody hard getting the boxes right. I attempted it a couple of years ago but gave up. Very rough draft:

It’s good, I think you’ve shown things look better under the 7 logo and not next to.
However they’d never in a billion years be allowed to use those images in the background, especially together like that.
I get what you’re saying, but seeing as the stripes resolve from the AFL logo, and you can associate the colours with that first, I have no problem with the coloured stripes.

…or even Australian because blue, red and white are the colours of our national flag - at least unless/until the design changes at some point in the future, of course! 
Back to the topic at hand and it seems like the Nine PRG recreation attempts are getting better although I’d personally love to see people have a go at creating a whole new On-Air Presentation package for the network!

Yes it is getting close. White text on yellow (or any other light text on light background colour) is hard to read, and the text appears smaller than what Nine put to air, but otherwise close.

It’s not often that I mention mocks from other websites, but these works from “Jimmyson” over on the soon to close TV Forum are worth a mention here due to being at a level of quality only a select few mockers on Media Spy have ever come close to matching.
The recreations of current & previous ABC News graphics, mid-1990s Ten News graphics (talk about one which would still hold up well today with a few minor tweaks) + ABC News Victoria titles in the BBC Regional News style are particular highlights!
