I could see them re-branding the updates for 10 (10 globe keyed in instead of the control room, 10 supers and title card) or giving them a more generic look that they can use for both Seven and Ten. But I can’t imagine them putting time and money into creating entirely new updates with a different presenter and different content when they’ve already got an adequate product.

I’ve sourced the Nine logo from @WAtvVideos’s clip
I then used the Luma Key tool on Adobe Premiere
Set the threshold to 22.0%
and Voilà.

If Seven Sport decided to move the scorecard to the top-left of the screen, as opposed to the bottom-left…

Seven’s (old) tennis scorecard shown on the top-left (rather than the bottom left it used to be on). Prior to 2006, it used to be on the top-left.

This thread has had its phases of poor quality mock after poor quality, but it definitely looks like this phase is not ending anytime soon…
We can wait for a mock that is of a better quality - don’t rush just to post here.

Just reworked on a lower third mock I did a while ago for 1 News. Here is some examples of mocks on each different set of news programmes.

These look awesome! Love the style consistency across the news shows.

The design is stylish, the colours are very nicely picked.
The only parts I would raise for critique would be:
- The transparency behind text on a lower third, makes it hard to read the text.
- I fell like you need something on the left of the text to give it a guide point. I feel with the logo on the right side, that it makes the read-order a bit messed up. Something needs to change to help restore that.
But it’s still very strong.
