No MJ or Prince or Madonna. Interesting.

I wonder if Cosmo will stick to its strengths or follow the lemmings off the cliff by obsessing about minorities via the much misunderstood guise of inclusivity?

I would have thought the lemmings were the ones putting celebrities and influencers on the cover. Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian etc.

Magazines once featured a variety of different models. Now they never appear on the covers.

Equally as bad. Agree.

This special issue features a cover illustrated by advocate and former Australian of the Year Grace Tame, powerfully depicting a pair of hands holding a human heart. Pinned to the heart is a note reading 49, representing the 49 female lives lost so far in 2024, an average of almost one every four days.

Would not buy any magazine that supports such an act happy for their work to be used by such a rapacious, anti competitive company that Qantas is.

Not decent to employees, not decent to the industry, upstream/downstream businesses, communities ‘served’ (and not served) and certainly not to customers.

Demonstrates the desperation of the artist to licence their work to Qantas.

Any option than Qantas/Jetstar.

Are we going to start blackbanning every artist and media outlet who collaborates with commercial entities who have been involved in some dubious commercial practices? There wouldn’t be many left who hadnt.

Should be for Qantas. Entire Australian music industry should put their morals where their mouths are and say no to them

You’d be forgiven for thinking this was some sort of TV fan magazine.

Better cover photos than TV Week.

Cosmo is putting men on the cover now?

Mumbrella’s managing director Neil Griffiths will be the new Editor in Chief of Rolling Stone magazine.

EDIT: Neil will finish up at Mumbrella on December 20 before joining The Brag Media (publisher of Rolling Stone) in January.
