Radio Stations - Music Logs

It isn’t, you’ll hear most of those songs played (likely some more than once) on WSFM if you listen at the same times over a couple of days.

Those are all just awful IMO. There’s nothing original or remotely interesting in any of them. Spotify or my iPod is a better option than these Grant playlists.

Agreed. None of them hook me in at all.

To me, none have a format. It’s a bunch of songs from all eras on shuffle.

I’m trying to look for the track listing’s from 1242 4AK Toowoomba from July 2020 Till May 2021 mainly the party mix and trending 20

no need to create a new thread everytime you want a playlist from a certain station. Put them in this thread, thanks

It looks like lava.net.au froze around 2pm yesterday. No new songs are showing up.

How are the Central Coast’s two most popular music stations sounding these days? Very similar.

Neither of the logs are particularly great, with some awkward song transitions (eg. George Michael to Britney Spears, or Bieber to Toto).

You did your sweep on Hit’s Oh Wow Wednesdays. Not their normal playlist.

What’s wow about Africa or Jesse’s Girl? Other than wow my god, that song for the millionth time.

Annoys me when a hit station does an 80s flashback and it’s such a lame flogged song.

The Star log is much better in my opinion.

Here’s another snapshot of the Central Coast commercial stations from this morning, which should show a more normal playlist for Hit. I also throw in Triple M there as well.

And for the sake of accuracy, MMM is in the middle of the tactic “Greatest Decade of all Time.”

I agree 100% ,who wants to hear one of those songs for the millionth time:-1::grimacing:

Out of that I’d listen to Triple M, can’t imagine too many people into Icehouse and Doja Cat

Wow, that Triple M playlist is sooo… Triple M! The exact same playlist could have been picked out from a random time 10 or 15 years ago - there is a greater variety of rock music around surely?

As I posted, we are doing the Greatest Decade tactic at present, so we are running high on the most loved 70s, 80s, 90s at present. It’s not a normal playlist for the next couple of weeks. Same with Hit’s OWW. It’s not a normal playlist.

And today is apparently R&B Fridays. Do they ever have a ‘normal’ playlist?

Aren’t Central Coast in ratings period at the moment?

Given the comments about Star in Mackay (& other Regional QLD markets) being a good local sounding station, as well as the fact that it hit #1 in the Mackay ratings at the expense of Hit (see what I did there? ), I thought I’d take a look at a typical hour’s playlist for that station.

I was in westfield Hurstville doing the grocery shop today. Wondering if the lava system covers the music that is played in shopping centres. I’m wanting to know the track that came after these two. These tracks were played around about 1:50 to 2:00 this afternoon.

Songs listed in exact sequence order.

Jason Derulo - Don’t cry for me (featuring Alok and Martin Jense)

Olivia Rodrigo - All I want

??? - I can’t love anymore / I can’t love (not sure, couldn’t hear song title properly.
Seemed to be like a dancey kind of a song with female vocals.
