On this day 1 year ago, Channel X was launched onto the former Today FM frequencies across New Zealand, with a mixture of music from the 90s to the mid-2010s. It remains possibly my favourite NZ station out there, with its minimal advertising (still) outside of local ads and DJ-free music. To celebrate, here’s what played in a typical hour (this is becoming a bi-annual tradition for me here lol) one year after launch. Happy anniversary Channel X!
