Radio Stations - Music Logs

Had my disability driver take me grocery shopping yesterday, he had KIIS 1065 on in Sydney, though horrible announcers, they were a few good songs I missed the artists and song title, so could someone please post the playlist from 11:00 am to midday (friday). Thanks.

Interesting how KIIS (my A$$) is a long way from a pure CHR these days. ‘3 AM’ would hardly be a relevant song to the yoof of today (and I agree, far from the best M20 song).

I have caught Power FM Nowra playing a few Billy Bob classics recently; nearly fell off the couch when I heard KWS- ‘Please Don’t Go’ on Friday night whilst tuning around. Now there’s a song I haven’t heard on commercial radio since the early 90s! They also spun the Grease Megamix last night.

It seems 90s retro is having a moment.

Agree, “Real World” and “All Your Reasons” are the only M20 songs i particularly like.

Thanks for doing this Mr. Expert! You could more accurately describe these stations as Adult Contemporary with some Christian content, rather than the other way around.

Interesting comparison but it would have been good to include Juice 107.3.

Out of the above, I prefer 965 Brisbane’s playlist, although Hope 103.2 has a good mix.

I did thought about including it, but when I saw the playlist on their website, it seems to be too few songs (ie. 7) listed for that particular hour surveyed.

For the record, here’s the link, which goes back over the last 3 weeks: https://www.juice1073.com.au/music/

I just had a look at it, and the playlist is very good, on a par with 965 Brisbane.

Being Australia Day Breeze is going all Australian. I’ve already heard some great softer Australian songs you definitely won’t hear elsewhere on Oz music countdowns.

Thanks for posting Brianc68. Just did a quick scan of the dial in Sydney - doesn’t appear any commercial stations are doing anything special for Australia Day. 2CH used to play all Australian when they were around. The only station I could find playing all Australian is Vintage FM, which is 60’s & 70’s.

Take out those newer hits from River94.9’s playlist and it’s actually not too bad.

It’s just too jarring going from Bryan Adams to The Kid Laroi to Matchbox 20.

I see they’re still flogging these 2 lame tracks👎

Both terrible playlists.

A playlist from 91fm Greatest Hits, a 1-hour music block that playing international classic hits from any point until 1990s. Because it’s only aired on weekend (Saturday and Sunday morning, live traffic breakfast doesn’t kick in until 8am in Saigon and 7:30am in Hanoi; Saturday at 11pm), the program is only produced one episode per week, as such, saturday morning broadcast is a repeat of last week’s program. The program is one of the very few international music-oriented programs on 91fm, Vietnam’s only commercially-oriented radio network.

My opinion: it’s sounds mostly like Triple M in the kangaroo land.

91fm Greatest Hits
