Confirmed its 92.9 - I wonder whether its supposed to be “Tamworth’s #1 Music”
I noticed that they’ve changed the RT to include a “Now Playing:” but it wasnt populated with music

Sounds like the RDS has not been setup correctly, guessing it is meant to cycle between the two lots of text but is only staying on the one lot of text
I tried to fix this one time when I was down there and had a hell of a time trying to work out where the WFM part was coming from as I was not able to find it. Last time I looked it only Had NEW FM programmed into it.
But I can mention it again next time I am talking to one of the techs

Hi @gordo92 Although I can’t see the software you are using. I’m not sure you are following what I am saying?
The W FM is I suspect coming from the NEW FM part of the existing PS.
I reckon the PS is set for Dynamic instead of static. I know there’s 4 versions of dynamic.
Try deleting the entire existing PS & enter again as a static PS & let us know the result.
Static PS is a maximum of 8 characters. NEW FM is only 6 characters. Only needs & should only ever be static & not horrible dynamic. Hope that helps

Some further updates.
2VLY Power FM Muswellbrook is using the same PI code as i98 FM Wollongong,
i.e. 2981. That and an update to the PTY in our Australian RDS List has occurred for 2VLY.
I’m still noting that 2HD Port Stephens on 97.5 still has a PI code of 0000.
@gordo92 is there a chance when next looking at the 2NEW PS problem you can change the PI code for 2HD to a unique number per CRA guidelines or postcode for tx site? PI code 2975 is probably free.
Other updates to Newcastle, Port Stephens & Muswellbrook have occurred in the RDS List

Yes, my car radio will initially display POWER-FM when I’ve travelled to i98 territory and the reverse applies when back home.

Triple M Orange has changed their PS from 105.1MMM to: Triple M,
PTY changed from Varied to Rock. Also has PTYN: Rock

There’s a few regional Triple M stations with "MMM " that are slowly changing to be consistent with the metro’s “Triple M”. Hopefully they also implement better AF across the country.

I looked for an AF on 105.1, but there wasn’t one. I thought an AF to Triple M Sydney might have been a consideration. That said there are two other LAPs in between Orange & Sydney, i.e. Bathurst & Lithgow.

We don’t do AF on different services, only alternate frequencies of each service. ID translators.
We don’t want to switch stations interrupting the content someone may be listening to (ie local announcers or commercials).

I think was changed a while ago now… at least in June, as it was Triple M back then.
Most are now Triple M, Gold Coast and Bendigo are 2 that are not.

Bendigo 93.5 is the only one I regularly can decode around Melbourne to “MMM BGO”. Noticed Warragul 94.3 is now “Triple M” if I’m in the SE suburbs.

92.5 Music FM, NSW have changed their PS slightly.
Now reads as: musicFM
(ex: music FM)
Also suspect they have removed Group 4A; Clock Time from their RDS output.
