Sydney and Brisbane are ALL CAPS TRIPLE M still as far as I know.
I think Adelaide is also Title Case Triple M like Melbourne.

I donāt understand why they havenāt adopted the DAB+ labels - MMM105.1
for Melbourne and MMM94.3
for Gippsland
Id prefer to see this standard across the board.
Or 105.1MMM and 94.3MMM
They could use āMMMELBā on 105.1, which they used to have as the direct Triple M Melbourne website url.
What about 97.9? Itās promoted as much (if not more) than 94.3, particularly since the Valley is where they will get most of their listenership.
If they have a separate feed that goes down to the valley, then they could run 97.9 MMM RDS on that as well.
That would require additional hardware as itās only an FM repeater
Subsequent to all the action going on in the Hit Network thread, I can confirm that 105.3 in Brisbane now has the station name āB105ā once again
It might break best practice, but surely B105 as the PI Code would have been tempting.
Updated RDS to go with new HIT imaging.
Now all capitals on both HIT101.3 and HIT106.9 (previously only the H was capitals).
Dare say Hit102.3 will be the sameā¦ will check next time Iām out in the car.
(just a joke)
what are you doing all the way over with hit102.3 in Esperance?
i know that the same frequency is used for hit102.3 & 105.1 Mid North Coast
Yes, Hit 102.3 Port Macquarie - which can be received in elevated parts of Newcastle, most of the time.
Though in the spirit of the recent B105 and SAFM rebrands, I wonder if a change to ROX FM 102.3 and 105.1 is on the cards?
As much as Iād like to see that happen, Iād say itās unlikely.
And the ROX brand isnāt one that suits the music played on HIT.
Unless it resurfaces on 100.7 / 106.7 instead and replaces the Triple M brand.
Or they kind of do a Perth and flip the frequencies ie. HIT moves to 100.7/106.7
HIT102.3 Port Macquarie RDS now all capitals too.
Iāve just come back from Regional NSW and all the Hit stations are in caps now. Even the QLD regionals are.
Yes. In line with the new brandā¦
Thought it may have been and I must say looks much nicer than the lower caps but that it replaced.
