ZZZ are back to usual; though Documentary seems to be a mistake (not a bit error).
Whatâs the talking Zeds program thatâs on, would you say itâs of a documentary type program, maybe they have the encoder to change settings depending on the program whatâs on or time of day?
Talking Zeds is some announcer/s chatting and mostly playing music.
They did have dynamic PTY is the past.
Their RT changes so very frequently with new messages from observations over a couple years.
On another RDS topic for the guyâs at SWR FM: The 99.9 SWR FM RDS CT has been slipping for over 2 months now. @Alex_Agaciak @matt86
Here is some of the RDS I captured on the Hume HWY and in Albury today. Tomorrow i will upload any interesting RDS I capture on the drive from Albury to Sydney.
The photos are in this google drive folder:

Thanks so much for all your efforts @AustraliaRadio232 in providing & assembling this info - absolutely awesome!
I have now finished updating our Aus RDS List with these updates.
During the past couple of weeks I have also updated some logos & RDS info for the RDS List.
And for the moment I have finished with cosmetic & hyperlinks changes on Worksheet 11.
Itâs now quicker & easier to either view or update WkSh 11 & easier to see the multiple in use PI Codes & the date when a PI code was last confirmed for a transmitter (PI CHECK).
Iâm in Sydney now and have finished sorting out all of the photos I took of RDS between Albury and here. Sorry if some photos are a bit blurry (my phone has a bad camera).
You can find the photos on this link:

Also some noteworthy things -
Life FM 101.9 was broken - all I could hear was a half second portion of a song over and over.
107.1 2AAA - No RDS was decoded even though signal was strong at 32 dBuv
All 2TVR stations had dynamic PS. (song title, artist, station name)
Thanks for that.
But also @TV.Cynic it looks from the ânewâ Group 10A codes that they might also have recently implemented PTYN - which they never had previously.
Can you investigate with RDS Spy?
TAB is back on air but has lost its RDS (again)
Itâs back!
Got a new computer where the SDR radio is - havenât been able to get RDS to work - wasted a lot of time on that. (Though it did for one minute - in a case when it shouldnât - virtual cable wasnât running and it was decoding a different station to that tuned in
Sorry to hear thatâŚ
I recall it took me a few hours at first to get it all going.
Are you able to pipe any audio to the VB ASIO audio cable?
Is the audio sourced from an audio chip on the motherboard? I have heard of some issues with some audio chips. Is this an Intel or AMD motherboard?
Are you piping the full 192kHz of audio?
There so many links in the path that need to be setup correctly.
I need to upgrade soon, not looking forward to thatâŚ
I spend quite a bit of time getting RDS Spy to work with the TEF webservers too. I greatly appreciated the assistance of one of our web hosts getting that working.
Pulse 94.1 RT update from TVCL3:
103.2 is back on the AF list also.
I note the station lookup doesnât seem to work for Pulse.
Itâs been on backup for about two weeks.
Also their website has been offline since yesterday.
4AAA has its RDS back it seems today
FMList has an outdated PI code stored for Pulse - have sent through an update request which should eventually flow through to the server (not sure how frequently the station lookup feature is refreshing FMList data?)
The PS/LPS change (breeze - all lower case) was yesterday across most of the network.
breeze PTYN is Soft AC
REBEL PTYN is Rock
Also as a trial, Gold Coast, Canungra, Wide Bay, Chinchilla, Miles, Goondiwindi, Stanthorpe & Tenterfield are running common PI & AF sets;
4BRZ AF: 90.1, 92.9, 95.5, 98.7, 100.6, 101.3, 102.5
4RBL AF: 93.7, 94.5, 96.3, 97.1, 99.4, 106.7
Makes sense considering the lowercase âthebreezeâ in the logo. The AF is a nice touch too
