I agree. I don’t think I’ve seen a mono station with RDS (unless that’s was the ABC is rolling out now), but as we know, there’s nothing technical that prevents a station from transmitting RDS while remaining in mono.

Not common here. Faith FM does this.
Over the ditch in NZ, ‘RNZ National’ FM txers; all (or most) have RDS with mono (no 19kHz stereo carrier).

88.9 2RSR Radio Skid Row have changed their RDS RT again, now showing identical to their PS as: SKID ROW

Edge Radio in Hobart have finally fixed their RDS so it’s visible on all receivers, and have adopted EDGE99.3 as their PS, rather than the dynamic EDGE & RADIO.
Ultra1065 is now the only station in Hobart without RDS (and is the biggest community station)…

New Norfolk Tyga 98.9 didn’t have RDS when I passed through last week, though its only a TCBL.

You’re right. They have the capability for it now since they fully moved to their new tower about 2 years ago from memory, not sure what’s happened since though

Thanks @Ant5476 We just now need to determine the RDS PTY, PI & TX site to fully populate in the RDS List. I’ve entered station into the Sydney Region RDS list with logo etc.

Cannot give you anymore information as my tuner does not display PI codes.

@ozbark I i was up the Blue Mountains today and had a chance to listen to Noise Fm, and this may help you populate some of the details.
Noise fm has two transmitter sites which is also confirmed by ACMA one at Mt Riverview and the second one at Bowen Mt. I won’t put the addresses on here as they look to be private residences.
Coverage Not really related to this thread, Mt Riverview / Bowen Mt covered pretty well from Stanhope Gardens to around Lapstone, and than their was some CCI from radio Austal. It did get better around. Blaxland / Warrimoo before dropping off very quickly after that.
Bowen Mt is definitely on air as Noise fn is receivable in Richmond, and would not have the level of coverage from Mt Riverview alone.
Sorry cannot help you with the PI code.

Thanks @Ant5476 Great detective work. I won’t put specific addresses in the database either as some LPON owners are I suspect very sensitive to site security etc.
River FM entry was already deleted once.
All good. Pity Nathan can’t help us with that either.
Perhaps one of the MS groupies will get over that way & procure that bit of info or I’ll try to log those details some time in the future.

Re the last post, I made a trip out to Rouse Hill this arvo & availed myself of an opportunity to try for RDS level reception of NOISE FM on 87.8MHz.
Sure enough I managed a decode, just a little slow though. A couple of pics of the many follow:
Following on from the detective site work of @Ant5476 & doing some distance measurements with Google Earth I assume my reception was from the Riverview site of Noise FM.
Oddly I didn’t see the RDS RT message that @Ant5476 posted for Noise FM, perhaps subsequently changed. 
In any case I noted four different RT messages & you can view these in our community Australian RDS List.
The PI code unsurprisingly follows the same format as that of River FM’s PI code.
Here’s also another updated pic of the River FM RDS from the same location as above.
I’ve also updated River FM’s RT in our RDS List.
Amazingly 89.9 Pulse FM’s reception was on a par with the above FM LPONs.

You’re probably getting your main signal for Noise fm from Bowen Mt considering you are getting River fm from Kurrajong Heights with a full RDS decode.
At my location I receive Noise fm from Mt Riverview. RDS decodes instantly on my DX setup. River and Faith fm are much weaker than Noise fm. I can get a very noisy stereo signal for River fm but not strong enough for RDS. River fm is generally pretty weak until Rouse Hill.
RE Pulse fm, Grass Karts is the worst site at Kurrajong Heights for reception at my location. Hopefully their move up the hill happens. The old Hawkesbury fm was a local signal here, Pulse fm from Grass Karts is significantly weaker.
