Ahhh I see a flaw… With 93.9 RN and 103.1 Classic from Soma Mountain for Tamworth taking it’s feed off air from Mt Dowe, it’s retransmissiting the RDS too… I assume Triple J is the same.
As Tamworth is more North West than Upper Namoi.
Good to see though, hopefully will put some pressure on GGG and NOW to get RDS going.

Interesting that its only RN/Classic - nothing on ABC News/triple j
The closest I can get at the moment for Mt Dowe’s services is on 99.1 (ABC Local), it detects RDS is there but can’t decode it. I’ll see what the car can get tomorrow morning

Which suggests to me that News and JJJ are being fed by satellite… Its weird that 2 are fed one way, the other two the other way… But also noting that JJJ and News are the last two added to Mt Soma
(Fun Fact: ABC RN Tamworth was originally on 104.7 back in the early 90s before moving to 93.9 not long after…no idea why).

ABC is reporting an outage for all radio services on Soma in the coming weeks, maybe the other two will get added then

I was able to get the usual PI code from JJJ as posted above.

Yes, but that was 99.9, not 94.7… So seems to me that Triple J Tamworth is fed by satellite, not off air from Mt Dowe as is the case for Classic and RN. Which is why there appears to be no RDS on 91.7 or 94.7 Tamworth.

Some more from Mt Dowe; just at the level of being able to decode in Brisbane, with a slight improvement in reception tonight.

Great news. 
If someone can provide RDS specifics I’ll repopulate the RDS List, if the RDS is going to stay on?
That said I really don’t have time to keep changing entries in the list (add/remove). It is easier if other’s change where they can - it is after all a Media Spy community lead initiative. It easier if workload is shared with the updating. 
I wonder if any of the PI codes & other data changed since last time 
The earlier data/entries are recorded in RDS Worksheet 16.
Also looking for the RDS details of 101.5 Mt.Dowe

Volkswagen’s implementation of RDS sucks - you can’t see the frequency of the station anywhere
Excuse the dust - it’s my work car and it sees some fairly dusty job sites

Most car radios are like that… my Mazda is the same - will only show frequency or RDS station name. Toyotas are one that will show both I think.
Maybe you can get the site hamster to clean your car for you in the wee hours!
