Q+A

“A senior spokesperson for the ABC declined to confirm or deny reports of the programs axing when contacted by TV Blackbox on Tuesday evening. The spokeperson also declined to answer questions regarding if the program would still return with new episodes in August as previously scheduled.”

Another day, another TV show gone. What will be next?

Sad week for Aussie TV. The Project, The Back Page and now this.
Wonder what’s replacing it.

Does it, though?

I can tell you exactly what’s replacing it. Something that is a whole lot cheaper, and a whole lot less controversial.

Yes, it does. 377,000 viewers this year is still pretty decent for that timeslot.

Rafael Epstein confirmed on ABC Melbourne breakfast today that Q+A had been axed.

A very unhappy week for live-to-air news programs with a studio audience!

Friendlyjordies has done his own satirical take on the news of Q&A’s axing.

I haven’t watched it. I don’t intend to watch it. I don’t need to. The face says it all. The guys is not a fan of the ABC, and wasn’t a fan of Q&A. Surprised he hasn’t put a proper reaction video onto Pornhub if you catch my drift.

Now, if it was Sam and Abby from the OG Crew making the announcement, I’d watch. IYKYK.

Elon Musk with even less personality

Didn’t you once say you managed to talk a producer out of having him host something? (Jordies that is, not Musk!)

I think he does have funny bones but he is also kind of an arrogant dick and I find his whole “don’t trust the media, trust ME instead” shtick very self-serving.

Who is this question directed at?

You @TVHead. It’s not important, was just curious.

I don’t remember sharing that here that’s why I was taken back, but yes I suggested otherwise a long time ago. But it would have never happened anyway.

When I think Q&A I think a bunch of lefties applauding each other. Granted, I havent watched it in about 10 years. But that’s why I stopped watching.

already saw on the courier mail a headline to the effect of “With the axing of Q&A and the Project, is it the death of woke TV?”
