So did I.
UK Original Romantic Comedy. The Flatshare.
The Flatshare. Coming Soon. Exclusive To Paramount+.
Coming soon to Paramount+ is The Flatshare, a six-part romantic comedy with warmth and wit, adapted from Beth O’Leary’s bestselling book.
Jessica Brown Findlay (Brave New World, Harlots, The Hanging Sun) and Anthony Welsh (Pure, Master of None, The Great) star as Tiffany and Leon, two cash-strapped London twentysomethings who share a bed. The catch is – Tiffany and Leon have never met and, if their plan works out, they never will.
Recovering from a controlling relationship, Tiffany spends her days earning minimum wage for minimum appreciation on a viral news website, while Leon works nightshifts in a hospice getting life advice from a terminally ill tween as he tries to free his wrongfully jailed brother. But, as the Post-it Notes start to fly and each gets unexpectedly drawn into the other’s messy, complex life, an attraction evolves backwards.
The question is – can you really fall in love with a person you’ve never set eyes on?
On the first look release, Jessica Brown Findlay commented: “Working on The Flatshare, bringing Tiff and Leon to Rom-com life alongside the BRILLIANT Anthony Welsh was a dream come true. We can’t wait for you all to get a set of keys cut and come join us!”
Anthony Welsh added: “I had so much fun making The Flatshare and working with Jessie was a dream. We had such a great cast and crew bringing this world to life and I’m looking forward to sharing our flat with everyone.”
The Paramount+ original series also stars Bart Edwards (The Witcher, State of Happiness, Unreal) as Tiffany’s ex-boyfriend Justin and Shaq B. Grant (The Box, Gangs of London) as Leon’s brother Richie. Shaniqua Okwok (It’s a Sin, Wolfe) and Jonah Hauer-King (World on Fire, The Little Mermaid) play Tiffany’s best friends Maia and Mo. Klariza Clayton (Lovesick, Skins) plays Leon’s girlfriend Kay and Gina Bramhill (Us, Sherlock, Brief Encounters) plays Tiffany’s co-worker Rachel.
Rose Lewenstein (Culprits, On the Edge) is lead writer and executive producer on the series, with Peter Cattaneo (The A Word, Rev, The Full Monty) as lead director and executive producer. The team of writers are Sarah Simmonds (Killing Eve, The Irregulars), Ryan Calais Cameron (Typical), and Alex Straker (The Last Kingdom). Chloë Wicks (On the Edge) directed block two.
The Flatshare is produced by 42 in association with VIS – the international studio division of Paramount Global. The Flatshare was commissioned by Sebastian Cardwell, Deputy Chief Content Officer, UK, Paramount, as part of the streamer’s wider strategy to commission 150 new international originals by 2025.
Sorry I didn’t see it and I looked at quite a few different places and various articles and lists.
I never said negative reviews were a metric that governs success. Obviously it has a dedicated fanbase that continues to supports the brand and keeps the subs up. Though the negative reviews are quite overwhelming.
Though lets also not pretend that subscriptions are the only factor that comes into play when renewing a streaming show. It has been pointed out by many publications that Paramount has little tentpole franchises and that they over rely on Star Trek. We are also still in an age when streaming companies are still pushing the mantra that any content is good content (though frugality seems to be slowly creeping in) and that they need a stacked back catalogue of originals to be competitive.
Really a hater? You need to stop taking things so personally. I’m not even a fan of 90s trek (or any in general) but keep on making those assumptions.
Just saw that the entire 2nd season of Blood & Treasure has finally been added to the Australian Paramount+. About damn time considering the final episode was released in the US on Sunday.
I was going to say that this could be some more 10 Peach content… but it’s only 10 episodes.
Hopefully it’ll eventually pop up on Peach and I’ll give it a shot.
As announced at 10’s 2023 upfronts this afternoon.
…U.S. and Canada, and the following day (January 27, 2023) on Paramount+ in the UK, Latin America, and Australia. Premiere dates for other Paramount+ international markets will be announced at a later date.
P+ original series Wolf Pack, starring Sarah Michelle Gellar, will also premiere in Australia on January 27 next year.
Paramount+ Greenlights The Changemakers.
The Changemakers. Coming Soon. Exclusive To Paramount+.
Paramount+’s new docuseries, The Changemakers (working title) has been greenlit for eight episodes. The series, produced by Paramount, in partnership with Proper Content, will feature the stories of eight everyday people fighting for a better world, and will premiere on Paramount+ globally in 2023.
Each episode of the documentary series will feature a different compelling storyline of people facing challenges in specific locations across the globe.
Grassroots activists will work to bring global attention to their specific campaigns, with the help of a panel of “super-activists”, who each have extensive experience in advocating for change.
“At Paramount+, not only are we proud to produce quality, original content around the world, but we also take pride in being able to tell compelling and meaningful stories on a global scale,” said Marco Nobili, Executive Vice President and International General Manager of Paramount+. “With our service streaming in multiple international markets, our changemakers’ stories will reach far beyond their local communities, leaving a lasting impact around the world.”
“We are excited for the opportunity to use the power of storytelling to uplift the voices of our activists, who are passionately working to make a lasting impact on some of our world’s biggest challenges,” said Georgia Arnold, Senior Vice President of Social Responsibility, Paramount. “It’s our hope that the diverse stories we spotlight will motivate audiences to become changemakers in their own right, as they realise that beyond imagining a better world, they can create a better world.”
"We are honoured to produce a series that imagines a different world, a better world, about the people who are holding that dream close and willing it into existence,” said David DeHaney, Creative Director, Proper Content. “Eight epic films. Each following one community trying to change the world. Discrimination; exploitation; environmental harm: their stories are unique, but their challenges are all of our problems.”
The series will be produced for Paramount as part of Content for Change, the company’s global initiative that aims to counteract racism, bias, stereotypes, and hate on and off-screen through three pillars, one of which is focused on systemically transforming the creative supply chain.

Paramount+ Hit Original Series Star Trek: Discovery.
Star Trek: Discovery. Season Five. Coming Soon. Streaming Exclusively On Paramount+.
Paramount+ debuted a teaser trailer for season five of its hit original series Star Trek: Discovery at the Star Trek universe panel at New York Comic Con.
The new teaser, which was introduced by series star Sonequa Martin-Green, who joined the panel virtually from set in Michael Burnham’s captain’s chair, unveils a first look at Rayner, played Callum Keith Rennie (The Umbrella Academy, Jessica Jones), along with Moll and L’ak, played by Eve Harlow (The 100, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) and Elias Toufexis (Shadowhunters, Blood of Zeus).
Callum Keith Rennie joins the cast in a series regular role as Rayner. Rayner is a gruff, smart Starfleet Captain who holds a clear line between commander and crew – he leads, they follow. Rayner’s all about the mission, whatever it may be, and he doesn’t do niceties along the way; his feeling is, you get the job done and apologise later. He has a storied track record of wartime success, but in times of peace he struggles. Collaboration is not his strong suit. That said, if it serves the greater good he’s willing to learn… but it won’t be easy.
Moll is a former courier turned outlaw, who is highly intelligent and dangerous, with an impressive strategic mind and a sharp wit. She goes into every situation with a clear plan and stays focused and clear-headed on her goal, even when things go awry. She’s not intimidated by Captain Burnham or the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery, and will face down anyone who stands in her way in order to get what she wants.
L’ak is a former courier turned outlaw, who is tough, impulsive and fiercely protective of his beloved partner, Moll. So long as he knows she’s safe, he doesn’t care about collateral damage or its consequences – a perspective that makes him very dangerous at times and will put him on the opposite side of Captain Burnham and the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery when they come into conflict.
This year’s Star Trek: Discovery panel at New York Comic Con featured series cast members Anthony Rapp and Wilson Cruz and executive producers Michelle Paradise, Alex Kurtzman and Rod Roddenberry. Also joining the panel was series star Sonequa Martin-Green, who beamed in virtually from the season five set of Star Trek: Discovery. Josh Horowitz, MTV host and host of the Happy Sad Confused podcast, served as the panel moderator.
In season five, Captain Burnham and the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery uncover a mystery that sends them on an epic adventure across the galaxy to find an ancient power whose very existence has been deliberately hidden for centuries. But there are others on the hunt as well… dangerous foes who are desperate to claim the prize for themselves and will stop at nothing to get it.
Star Trek: Discovery season five cast members include Sonequa Martin-Green (Captain Michael Burnham), Doug Jones (Saru), Anthony Rapp (Paul Stamets), Mary Wiseman (Sylvia Tilly), Wilson Cruz (Dr. Hugh Culber), David Ajala (Cleveland “Book” Booker) and Blu del Barrio (Adira).
The series is produced by CBS Studios in association with Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment. Alex Kurtzman, Michelle Paradise, Heather Kadin, Aaron Baiers, Olatunde Osunsanmi, Frank Siracusa, John Weber, Rod Roddenberry and Trevor Roth serve as executive producers. Alex Kurtzman and Michelle Paradise serve as co-showrunners.
Season five of Star Trek: Discovery is currently in production in Toronto, Canada.
Star Trek: Discovery seasons one through four are currently streaming exclusively on Paramount+

“2023 is set to be a monumental year for Paramount and we’re glad we had the opportunity to share an exclusive look at some of our most exciting content debuting soon on Paramount+.”
Paramount proved to be hopelessly devoted to 2023 with exciting plans for the 45th anniversary of the cult classic, Grease. Showcase attendees heard of upcoming collegiate fashion trends with Rydell High assets and on the ground local collaborations and anniversary programs. In 2023, Paramount+ will launch new original series, Rise of the Pink Ladies, which follows four fed-up outcasts, taking place before the original film. Other new and exciting IP updates highlighted the expanding consumer products opportunities for Yellowstone and Showtime’s critically acclaimed Yellow Jackets.
The showcase celebrated Paramount’s leading position across pre-school audiences, with PAW Patrol upholding its position as the number one pre-school franchise globally and in Australia. The powerhouse brand will continue its growth into 2023 with the highly anticipated 10th anniversary for the franchise, which will welcome new partnership opportunities and consumer product launches. Guests were also treated to an exclusive sneak peek of the second global theatrical feature film, PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie, releasing in 2023.
The multigenerational portfolios offer an impressive line-up of new IP across Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Star Trek: Prodigy, SpongeBob SquarePants and the pop culture classic, Garfield. The legacy of the almost 40-year-old turtles franchise, will aim to capture a new generation, while also offering adult superfans an opportunity to relive the nostalgia with the launch of the new theatrical film, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. The showcase revealed a multi-layered strategy around the iconic franchise, including product launches across games, puzzles, apparel, accessories and video games.
For those feeling the need for speed, the showcase wouldn’t have been complete without reflecting on the huge Global Box Office success of Top Gun: Maverick, which held the impressive title of highest grossing movie of 2022 and surpassed The Titanic to become the highest grossing film in the studio’s history. Fuelling the franchise in 2023 will see a suite of new assets with key seasonal activations in the lead up to Father’s Day and Christmas.
Ghosts season two is finally up. Except the first episode is missing.
That makes sense haha
No words.
