The Agency is a fresh take on the critically acclaimed hit French drama Le Bureau des Légendes and will debut on Paramount+ soon. The series is co-distributed internationally by Paramount Global Content Distribution and Federation Studios.

The series follows Martian (Fassbender), a covert CIA agent ordered to abandon his undercover life and return to London Station. When the love he left behind reappears, romance reignites. It focuses on the “Bureau of Legends” service, responsible for training and handling deep-cover agents on long-term missions in areas with French interests. Living under false identities for years, these agents’ missions are to identify and recruit good intelligence sources.

Code Black, which aired on CBS several years ago is coming to Paramount+ July 15th, according to one of their newsletters this afternoon.

Currently on Disney+ as it was a co-production between ABC & CBS Studios, prior to that I believe it played out on 7Flix and streamed on 7+.

Didn’t see it mentioned in their streaming highlights this month.

Asher Keddie and David Wenham were on The Project this evening to talk about Fake. David even put on Diver Dan’s voice to send a message to Sam Taunton’s mum.

Asher Keddie and David Wenham star in the new romantic drama 'Fake' that is disturbingly relatable, and they tell us why people ignore red flags in relationships. pic.twitter.com/vwtGiDqGfZ

— The Project (@theprojecttv) July 4, 2024

Just about to tune into Fake, but noticed P+ really pushing this hard - every slide on the carousel at the top of the site at the moment (checked both web browser & app) is for the show but using different imagery.

Also trending at #3 on their most watched today, behind South Park and NCIS.

Stephanie Wood, whose memoir Fake inspired the P+ miniseries of the same name, wrote an article in Good Weekend magazine (inside SMH and The Age today) on how the show was adopted by producer Imogen Banks and Paramount ANZ, as well as a BTS look at the production. Wood wrote that she and her nephew Marni had a cameo in a scene in which David Wenham’s character Joe walked past them in the office lobby; however the scene was left on the cutting room floor.

The 2017 Good Weekend story (left) that Wood expanded into a book, covered by the magazine in 2019 (right).

Wonderful story so well done by Paramount+, second great series after Last King of the Cross. Already binged the whole series and appreciate the story even more after reading this article. Hopefully will be shown on 10 at a later date.
