Paramount Australia & New Zealand

Only about four “new” shows. This can’t be the full list.

I thought Colin Lane would be hosting for RSC. Really like him as host

If 10 are gonna Succeed in the Traditional News Slot occupied by 7 and 9, They’ll have to Simulcast Deal or no Deal or Ready Steady Cook on 10 Bold and/or 10 Peach, Same goes with the Newer Franchises.

No they don’t.

Worth noting that upfronts are never the be all and end all for programming announcements and more intended for advertisers than audiences as such, there’s a delicate line they’re towing as well with announcing too many changes in one go for next year given the shake up at 6pm, MasterChef cast changes etc.

I agree 100%. Blackbox is not a reliable source when it comes to reporting anything on 10. What does this line in the report mean? “I asked a trusted industry insider for some feedback on 10’s response”, if a trusted insider was prepared to speak to Blackbox then name them. By leaving this source anonymous then it only feeds into how I and I presume others view Blackbox reporting on 10.

Er except for the multiple confirmed exclusives this morning from the Upfronts? Okay then.

I don’t disagree with the sentiment on the content of the article, but unnamed sources is not exactly uncommon either.

More like we just made it up ourselves!

What are you on about? TVBlackbox have a huge strike and hit rate in regard to programming exclusives from 10.

Thanks for always being so polite! Maybe read my posts before commenting. My post has nothing to do with programming but the fact that if there is any detrimental news about 10, Blackbox will be in there first. I feel and I may be wrong that there is a distinct bias against 10 on that particular site, general commenting not programming news. Blackbox the Daily Mail of media reporting!

Basically spoiled their upfront announcements, save for Ready Steady Cook :joy:

Mate you just said “more like we made it up ourselves”.

Basically saying TVB make up stories and sources when that simply isn’t true.

“TVB the daily mail of media reporting”??? Sounds like someone has an issue with TVB.

Very odd commentary.

First of all I am not your mate! Do you work for Blackbox? Can you prove “the source” is real?

lol the stories being true confirms the sources are real.

Nobody needs to prove anything, and it’s not David’s job to do that. Don’t like the story? Nobody is forcing you to read it.

Of course you can have your own opinion and share it here, but when you make sweeping comments such as “Blackbox is not a reliable source when it comes to reporting anything on 10” expect to be challenged.

Perhaps be a bit clearer what you mean in future to avoid any confusion.

What stories? My comments applied to the story regarding 10 ratings and the unnamed source refuting 10’s spin on the story. The story is by Robert McKnight so a large grain of salt is needed with it. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: The story may have fact but the unnamed source doesn’t. Anyway what is your deal? Are you a Blackbox employee?

I stand by what I wrote, if you disagree with what I said, in your own words, nobody is forcing you to read it.

Why should he? It’s not uncommon for sources to stay unnamed or anonymous especially if they are not authorised to speak publicly on behalf of the organisation.
